Last time I watched your shop video was over a year ago in my old office at a mortgage company, woodworking as my hobby. I was let go shortly after due to the recession and have been working a few part time jobs to pay the bills and selling some of my creations. I just started my official business a couple months ago and it's a brutal, rough start but I foresaw this. I'm hoping to reach a stage like this at some point whether it's five, ten or twenty years from now. I'm twenty-seven now and feel like I'm a newborn, a seedling in a large, unforgiving world.
I hope to share my journey like you and hopefully inspire other's just the same!

I love that you have a fire cabinet! As a laboratory technician in a chemistry lab I really appreciate that! I love all of the attention that you paid to dust collection again, safety first! And I love that you have an exhaust fan in your soon to be paint area. Keep up the fantastic work!

Mold spray tends to have bleach in it at least the ones I use have. It's a powerful oxidizer so coming in contact with metal it would quickly rust it. So as long as the shop isn't moist that rust should be very surface level, so a soak in something like Evaporust or vinegar, coke, etc should do the trick to remove the rust. Sanding if possible too or a wire wheel. Love how the shop has come out thus far!

Once you get your CnC running, I’d consider making some access panel templates, this way you can fish electric under your raised floor. The cords on the floor are always trip or “stop-short”hazards.

The attic space is intense, if the joists installed up there are rated accordingly, this would be the place to put the office versus the 1st floor, opening up the 1st floor for more space to expand your business. What a cool space, so much work was done, really enjoyed the hyper finished area where you have your wall of tools hanging up, hopefully you can do that style throughout the rest of the shop in the future!

I added clear sight ports to my dust bcollector bins, in fact two ports allowing allow me to shine a flashlight in when checking on fill status so that I know when to change, your shop is well planned and one main feature in my opinion is how wide you have left all asiles/walkways this makes using the shop much more effective and pleasureable great job. Consider adding chiller to compressed air to keep air dry and oil free especially for paint spray and any cnc machines that need compressed air or if you use any air tools as this will extend their life. I have used both manual adjust and cnc adjust wide belts in school. They are nice and handy but really only if it makes sense to have one. The machine requires a good compressor to tension the belt and a good dust extractor. I wouldn't be surprised it it required 3 phase power. I personally would spend the extra to get a model with a cnc control panel.

A system like this produce clean, dry air, quietly. Companies like Kaeser make systems that will meet your needs. I would also recommend a ring main supply system.

The sanding belts on the drum sanders seem to be an issue with different brands as well.
My son has a 36” Grizzley and he has the same issue.
As for the wide belt sander he has a 36” wide which works well.
But frankly he uses a stroke sander more than he uses the wide belt sander.
it does require a more skilled operator however.
He has recently upgraded that to an 8’ long model.
Cabinets are his speciality, and he mostly builds the Euro model as opposed to the face frame model due the more competitive pricing.
However that also requires an edgebanding machine.

I have mold in my shop, mostly because the floor leaks and I have that almost fixed, what kind of mold spray did you use and would your recommend it? The reason water leaks up through the floor, besides cracks in the concrete, is because of poor irrigation. I've been working on it for the past 2 years, as I need heavy rains to test what I did, and it seems to be mostly controlled. We have the same problem in our basement but no mold.
