I would have bought every FORD related item at that swap meet. I am glad you guys are an ocean and half a continent away. I just started my vintage Tamiya RC collection and I canʻt imagine getting back in to plastic kits too. Great video and builds.

There is a Studebaker car show coming to the Marion County Fair Grounds and there will be a model contest there.... Sept. 11
With the 3-D printing There is endless what how they can build models these day's. Make the smallest detail for model's.

Is there a site to get notice of area shows? I used to get mailings of upcoming shows, but they stopped coming. Maybe they got tired of some guy from KY coming in there and putting good stuff on the Judging tables. Lol. There used to be good shows in Nashville, Memphis, Evansville, Cookeville, etc. I'd love to see if any of the "old" guys are still around now that the j.o.b. won't be getting in the way.

I don't know Bob. I tried looking him up and didn't find anything. The next time I see him at a show I am going to do a video on him and his supplies/parts. That way everyone will know and hopefully it will help him out too.

As much as i like your videos. I have models from the late 90's, early 2000's. Most of mine are NASCAR models. But, in these videos, i don't see any NASCAR, Outlaw Sprint cars, or even Modified models. I don't mean anything bad. I just couldn't help but notice the absence of those kits.
Yea, some shows just don't have them Michael. If you watch my ACME Model contest video there are loads of cool race cars in that video. I KNOW you will enjoy them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure, Indy cars are where my heart is! I have an Indy car model video I made that I haven't released yet. It is nothing but built Indy car models. You will enjoy that! Did you see my 500 Museum walk thru I did a while back?

There was a guy named Steve who use to own Wings n' Rails hobby shop in Plainfield. He had a humongous Indy Car collecton, from plastic models to tin toys, he had it all. He carved a lot of jis Indy Cars from wood since no kits were available. You couldn't tell them from a factory kit. He also was a popular racing artist, pencil sketch, a lot of his work sells for big money. Anyway, thought you may have met him. Can't remember his last name but his shop was opened at leat until the mid 90s.

You know Tim, I have seen the museum video. As soon as I clicked on it I saw where I'd left a like from before. Anyway, I watched it again, you're right, I loved it. The museum used to have a display of quite a few Indy pace cars in 1/25th scale. I saw it back in the late 70's, early 80s. It was in the lower level and the display area was built into the wall.

@@mightylonesome9426 Yes, the models were only going to be displayed for 1 year and it turned into about 17 years! I recently saw a post where the builders picked up their models earlier this year.
