That's why in "certain areas" in my country shopping 🛒 have an electronic lock on the front wheels and a location chip. If you walk too far from the supermarket the wheels block.

So let me get this straight:
Step #1: Steal a shopping cart
Step #2: Dump your entire bag of peat moss into the cart, so that the first half of the bag dumps out on the ground
Step #3: Quickly before the rest dumps out through the 1-inch holes in the cart, run up and down your yard, putting down enough peat moss to cover an entire yard, into 4 short rows
Step #4: Go back to the home center, buy another bag of peat moss, and a drop spreader to put the proper amount on the entire yard
That about cover it? (pun intended)

Peat moss is great for retaining moisture but raises the soil acidity. High acidity will inhibit grass growth while also promoting weeds. Unless you live in a drought prone climate or have a nutrient deficiency along with acidic plants, there are better options. Mainly, fertilizer in the correct ratio for your species of grass, along with watering and cutting your lawn consistently.

I did this sort of thing but for rocks. I "borrowed" a Home Depot cart to sort rocks into smaller and larger. When I was done I returned the cart.
Don’t steal shopping carts. But also, there is such thing as over processing - applying to much in little areas. You get what you literally pay for. If you care enough to keep the maintenance on your property, you will care enough for the proper resources and tools/equipment.. product like this, should be applied at least 1,00 sq ft per minute, which would mean you’re moving pretty quick but the product will be applied evenly if you are looking for uniformed results.
Wheel barrows work too, and you don’t have to be banned from HEB for stealing carts
