First, what is a quick detailer? It’s essentially a solution that makes detailing a quick process. However, don’t use quick detailers on very dirty vehicles. In those cases, a traditional wash with free flowing water is always the best technique.
How does a quick detailer work? By encapsulating dust which can then be wiped away using a microfiber towel. Its main purpose is to remove light dust. Most of them can also be used in direct sunlight.
Here are some scenarios where you can use a quick detailer:
To remove a light layer of dust on a vehicle (if for example you’re at a car show or if the car has been sitting in a garage for one week)
To use as a final inspection tool (for example to remove fingerprints on a freshly detailed car, or to clean a spot that you missed while washing)
To remove fresh bird droppings for the vehicle’s paint (if it’s less than an hour old)
To use as a clay lubricant when claying a car to remove embedded contaminants (note: if you have access to a dedicated clay lube, than use that instead)
To give your paint extra shine and gloss, as a final touch after the washing and drying process
To remove water spots after washing and drying a vehicle
How do you use a quick detailer? First, inspect the car to evaluate if using a quick detailer is appropriate, i.e. if the car only has a light layer of dust. Spray the quick detailer on the surface, then gently wipe and buff using a clean microfiber towel. You can spray a quick detailer on pretty much all the exterior surfaces: paint, glass, chrome, trim and rims. For best results, spray on a cool surface.
Here are some recommended dilutions to use with rinseless washes like Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash:
Add 3 oz of product to 1 gallon of distilled water.
For a 32 oz spray bottle, add 0.75 oz of product in the bottle and fill with distilled water.

Pan TheOrganizer I have a question. I just noticed that the road in my neighborhood is getting "resurfaced". Black oil, small rocks everywhere! How should I clean the inevitable mess it will leave on my car?
If you get tar spots, you can use a tar remover like CarPro TarX: amzn.to/2rnbnqe
Hi Pan,
If only have meguiars gold class or ultimate quick detailer,
Can I mixed it with distilled water too?
Hi thanks for sharing your knowledge and time. Can we use this wolfgang detail spray on our windshield/door glasses? Greetings from Dallas, TX.
Found this off Twitter, it was GOLD! 🙏🏽 I just ordered 128oz of Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash off your link. Question: I detail Telsas... what could I blend this with for more shine depth or water beading and still only perform one Spray/Wipe pass on the car?
Thanks for this information. I bought this product and made my own detail spray. Works very well way less expensive.
👍🏻
Hi pan thanks for teaching me how to detail and paint correction. Love how it came out.I can’t believe the result. I’m in New Jersey and did a deep cleaning of the car paint like you say. Cannon wash . Hand wash. Clay. Iron remover. Compound. Polish. Seal.hybrid ceramic spray coating. Spend a lot of hours but for a 12 year old car it’s like new. Thank you very much.
That's good to know! What car do you drive?
@@PanTheOrganizer I’m driving a 2002 A6 Audi. My husband car is a 2008 535xi bmw that’s the one I finished.
Thank you Pan. Short and straight to the point video. Appreciate all your expertise.
Thanks Phillip!
Was researching this Wolfgang waterless wash. Saw your Texas buddy then saw you had a year ago video on it. Went on eBay got a 16oz bottle with a nice microfiber wash mitt from Autopia car care in Florida for $16.89 and free shipping. Going to get together with my grandson, who has his first car, and make up a couple of batches of quick detail or as per your video.
I have been interested in Wolfgang Uber wash and now will try it out. Great video Pan!
Thanks Juan! If you were interested, well you'll be happy as it works great as a quick detailer.
This is a great idea, Dallas Paint Correct did a really in depth video on the same topic, I was glade to see you acknowledge him, keep it up Pan!
Thanks! I give credit where credit is due. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer can i use kochchemie gsf instead of uber
I have been using Wolfgang Uber for a rinseless wash and it is a great product. I also mixed a detailing spray solution with 3 oz. per gallon of distilled water. That makes a superb detailer/waterless wash. I also use it as a drying agent.
Yup
Thank for the tip and suggestion. I learn a lot of new tip and trick.
Thanks Aaron!!
Funny you uploaded this! I just started using this stuff a couple of weeks ago haha. I love the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless wash for quick detailer! Be careful with the measuring side of the bottle, if you tip it too much it will keep filling while you are pouring and I spilled some on my floor 😂😂😂 It was like ice afterwards. Great product though!
Hehe yup!!
I have been using the Uber rinseless diluted 3 oz to a gallon, for a while now. Works great and super economical.
I fully agree Don!
Thanks for the money saving tip Pan. Question- can you use a quick detailer over a ceramic coated car? If not, any suggestions on what can be used?
Great and thanks for how to use the Uber in a spray bottle mix. Just ordered the Uber for that purpose after watching that same video. I also hope it works as a quick wipe off of the bug splatter after road trips. It is becoming bug season in the southern USA. 2-thumbs up!
Thanks for watching!
For bug splatter, those things are sticky and acid in nature and need to be properly washed off the paint. Quick detailers aren't really designed to remove that.
Hey, thank you for doing this. I actually made a video mentioning your recommendation as I’ve had this product on a commercial application now for a year of testing with your recommendation and it works well.

Great video! Been using ONR for years as a detail spray and for a rinseless wash 👌🏻
I'm not that sure if *Norway* likes to be used as a detail spray and rinseless wash? ;)
Haha , wow! I totally typed that wrong , thank you! 🤣
Yup, great product!!
Tried it out, good stuff.

Carpro Ech20 pan! Love that stuff!
Yes that's also a good choice!
After a rinse less wash, do I need to reapply wax and/or paint sealant every single time? Thank You for this video. It is greatly appreciated.
What can I use for 1 day old bird drops ? I am learning so much from your videos thank you Pan
Thanks as always for the video Pan. Scott is also another great detailer and I have seen many of his videos too. Is this quick detailer safe for ceramic coated cars too?
Yes it's safe for any paint protection item.

Hi Pan I have a quick question for you. I have de contaminated and polished my Mercedes with a da polisher, alcohol wiped the paint and treated it with Meguiars hybrid ceramic spray coating. I have since used Wolfgang rinseless wash to clean the car, can I apply the ceramic spray coating over the rinseless wash for further protection? Thanks for the great video's and i enjoyed the ride with you in the 911 Turbo S, WOW!
Always nice to see credit given where due. Never lose that quality. +1 sub.

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it!
I’ve been detailing for over 20 years and thought that was a long time, but much respect to you, you’ve done almost double that!! 👍🏻
Hey Pan thank you for the info! What do you think about Griots Rinsless Wash and Wax? and is Wolfgang Uber better?
Hello,
Great video. I am from India and love your educational videos.
Unfortunately, Uber 370 isn't available locally (or comes from ~ $100) but there are other similar products available.
How do I test the effectiveness of such product with being an expert detailer with 20 yrs of experience? I am particularly worried about paint protection and scratch/swirls.
Please advise.
Pranab
Hello Pan Quick question which pump attachments do you use to attach to a gallon container like a super clean gallon or a maguire hyper dressing container im trying to use a pump to avoid dropping material or wasting material when filling a 32 oz spry bottle any Amazon link you could provide that you use id appreciate it thank you
Thank you for the tip. I just received my order today of the wolfgang, and made me a 32 oz mixture. I went with 1oz of product to the 32oz spray bottle.
Tomorrow is the weekend and i will use it and let you know how i like it.
Cool !
Very good, thank you.

Hi Pan.. .Fantastic videos.. I am a big big fan of your work... Love your garage too!!
I am in the UK and like one of your other subscribers.. We cannot get Wolfgang or Ultima.. I am desperate to try Wolfgang out. We have ONR in the UK which I am using (Wax Version) and you are right - great product - but the detailing spray is not as impressive.
I wish I could order from the USA but the delivery charges are astronomical!! For now I will probably have to settle for Bouncers - Done and Dusted.. great product!!
Thanks again!!
Hi Ernesto! Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it!
I heard good things about the Bouncers. I'm pretty sure I remember Jon from Forensic Auto Detailing channel tested that one.
How did you discover my channel?
Hi Pan... Yes that's exactly why I bought Bouncers.. I watched Jon's video... I am a hobbyist... I came across your when I searched for detailing a black car... once I saw your video of your garage... I was hooked!! haha Love the OCD'ness... Wish I had the same kind of space!!
Keep up the great videos... always a pleasure to learn from you and I really really love the fact that you give links to products in different countries!! Thank is really really cool...
Thank you!!
Hey pan, what do you suggest to get rid of water spot from the car that have carpro cquartz ?? I have use spottless but still :( please help , thank you so much
Hey in your Video your spray bottle was half full of liquid when you out the .75 ounce of rinceless wash then you put in the measured out water
Did I miss what the bottom liquid is or was it just the water split up ?
HI Pan, that certainly saves money, great info.
Thanks Steven!!
Hi thanks for sharing your knowledge and time. Can we use this wolfgang detail spray on our windshield/door glasses? Greetings from Dallas, TX.
Most definitely!
Great suggestions Pan! Detail spray does get quite expensive and this is a way to stretch your money and get a product that you know what’s in it! Great idea! How is the car search coming?
I picked it. It will be built to order (custom order) and I should get it end of June or beginning of July, at which point I’ll reveal it to my viewers! 😆
Pan TheOrganizer can’t wait to see what you chose!
What makes the Best of Show Detailer able to use in sunlight though?
Hi Pan - what's the ratio for the No rinse Lubricant? Still enjoying watchin your Video... Learn a lot of tips and tricks and product information.
Nice work Pan. I was using ONR as a QD and after watching Scott’s video on Uber Rinseless Wash I waited until my ONR supply was used up and I mixed up a gallon of “pink magic” and am as convinced of its superiority as are you two professionals. I have to admit that I kind of forgot about it until my brother told me that he was blown away by its lubricity and gloss. I searched YT for Scott’s video to get the correct proportions and your treatment came up first. I subscribe to both of your channels and have learned more about perfecting the appearance of my cars from you guys than from anywhere else. Keep up the great work dealing with techniques, product reviews and comparisons and I’ll keep watching! Cheers.

Pan TheOrganizer - I have watched many of your videos and enjoyed them all!
Awesome! 👍🏻
Which one better for drying aid ? Amd what diluted ratio to use ?
Another good one, Pan. 👍
I always use distilled water when diluting any product. I wonder if i'm making a mistake in any way by doing that..
Perfect! It’s always best to dilute products using distilled water. You’re maximizing the product’s efficiency by making sure no minerals from normal tap water interfere with the chemistry of the product! 👍🏻
Hi PAN... where did you get that measuring device/cup that is on your ONR bottle ?
Definitely have to give that a try. Thank you Pan.
Thanks Steve!
If you use distillate water in a 1 Gallon / 4 Liter with ONR how long does it last ? would it be the expire date on the distillate water would be
Merci. Buying now
Thanks for watching Patrick!
Pan TheOrganizer no problem. Thanks for being top notch.
I appreciate that Patrick! 👍🏻
But you would use ONR over wolf gang when getting off some dust you missed after a wash because wolf gang has fillers and what not right?
Hey Pan! After mixing the product like you demonstrated in the video, can you detail spray this product on a wet car after a wash to dry it? Thanks for all your great videos brother.
Yes it can absolutely serve as a drying aid.
Awesome. I'll use on my future car washes...
Thanks for watching Rafael !!
How did you discover my channel by the way?
Pan TheOrganizer I don't remember... I guess by watching AMMO NYC videos ou searching directly on YT... Greetings from Brazil
Cool! Yes Larry from AMMO NYC also did guest appearances in two of my videos! The Ammo Reflex and Ammo Frothe reviews I did. :)

Is there specific for matte finished surfaces?
Hey pan will this work well as a clay llubricant?
My boy carzilla has it in stock going to see him right now!!!
Thank me later! LOL. Thanks for watching Tarik!
I made some from the exact Wolfgang last night! Great idea to share!
Absolutely! :)
You should try the Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer (BSD), although it isn' t actually a detailer, like the name suggests, but more like a turbocharged spray sealant, that will put many coatings to shame when it comes to hydrophobicity.
Some think dirt sticks better to paint protected by BSD but I haven't tried the product myself. It of course repels water like crazy but sometimes those kind of products can be dirt "magnets"....
Yes, but the purpose of this video is to show how to make a quick detailer, that has no protecting properties.
Pan TheOrganizer Yes, of course, and the video is great, by the way. I just wanted to give you a suggestion to test a really good product that is gaining in its popularity like crazy. Keep up the good work! :-)
Cool! Thx for the suggestion and for the kind words about my channel! 👍🏻
How did you discover my channel?
Awesome review Pan. Does it leave a shine agent? My understanding is that you don't want to leave or add shine agent to a ceramic coated car
No additives or waxes in this one. I use it on my coated car. ;)
Great video Pan! Do you think ONR Wash and Wax (if diluted properly) might be an even better detail spray as you get the same microencapsulation effect, but now also an even greater water beading surface? What are your thoughts?
Yes, but I wouldn’t use it on a ceramic coated car.
In super cold weather could I use this in my garage for a matanice wash. I don't have drains in my garage. I'm super jealous of your setup.
You should watch my brand new two car garage tour video here: czcams.com/video/gyehNOd44SY/video.html
@pan the organizer what are the Europa measure's ? How many ML of wolfgang on howmany destilled water ? For example i have a 450ML bottle from monello how much of Wolfgang i have to put in?
Many in the future movies you make you can put the europa measure's in it ( i know allot of People from here watch your video's)
Anyway respect keep it up i enjoy your video's and i hope you keep making em
I cant help but to believe that the fine people at wolfgang “leaked” this method. I know they sold one bottle to me.
Thanks for the videos paaaaan
It's a great alternative use for the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash. :)
how much of the onr did you put in? thanks
Another great video mate 👍
I've just made a IPA wipe down mix so what would be a safe dye if I would like to colour it.
Thanks Jamie! I don’t add dyes so unfortunately I have no answer to that.
Pan please help me. I have applied 3m perfect it Ex Rubbing Compound to a car. The Compound is stuck to the car. Please suggest me how to remove the stuck Compound. Please reply it's Urgent.
Thanks for another great video. Two questions - Is there a shelf life to a home made quick detailer? Can you use uber rinseless on a ceramic or graphene coated car?
Normally, chemicals are good for about one year if kept in stable conditions and not frozen. Yes you can use the QD on a coated car.
But there are better options now. Watch my best quick detailers/drying aids video: czcams.com/video/NOTNed04xYE/video.html
What are the ingredients and ratios of a WATERless wash? Or is it the same thing?
I recently purchased CarPro ECH2O to use as a quick detailer and seems to work pretty well. What are your thoughts on it vs the wolfgang?
Both great! I’d have both in my detailing arsenal. ;)
Good afternoon,PAN. Hello from Russia. I watch your channel with great pleasure.Thank you so much for Your work! I am very interested in your opinion .I made a quick detailer out of green NO RINSE .I noticed that it is a little difficult to polish. And reduces the smoothness of the wax coating. In one of the videos I saw how a man mixed this QD with OPT OPTI-SEAL . Do you think it makes sense? Thank you very much)
Great video Pan, thank you! So what's the best microfiber to use for quick detailers? Let's say after you wash a car and you drive it and get some dust. Quick detail spray, what's the best microfiber to use? Something that doesn't create lint on a dark color car. Also, have you used the microfibers from Costco? They are a huge pack of yellow microfibers.

Hi, Mr. Pan. I am from India and fan of you too for car detailing tricks and techniques. I am a just car detailing enthusiast. I want to ask you, I just bought a DA polisher and 1 medium cutting Orange hex foam pad, if I polish my car with only 1 foam pad how should I clean it on the go and how often?
You should clean it at least after wach panel using a pad conditioning brush. Like in my full car detail videos.
Pan TheOrganizer thank you very much
Legend... thanks a lot Pan! Cheers...
Great video pan also which type of microfiber towel do you recommend ?...
It depends for what use, but if it's for applying a quick detailer, I'd get one as plush as possible, like one of my favorites: The Rag Company Eagle Edgeless: amzn.to/2rsuMpc
Those are great to buff waxes too! :)
Have you made this with swift wipe waterless car wash by chemical guys?
Pan
- I was thinking about buying Mother's Speed Clay 2.0 (clay block )
what are your thoughts on using a Detail Spray vs Clay Lube with a clay block ...which would be better?
(Example Meguiars Last Touch Detail Spray D155 is a detail spray , BUT it can be diluted 1:1 to make a clay lube )
So i wonder which would work better dedicated clay lube or instant detail sprays.
lightningsmokerXx you’re better claying while washing your car
So this whole time my dumb ass is paying 7 bucks for details spray and I come upon your video, Between you and Dallas I am enjoying your guys videos. You have a new subscriber.

Yes I have my basic car wash tutorial video which you can watch here: czcams.com/video/PugdSwF9d9w/video.html
And for my favorite quick detailer spray, you know the answer as it was in the video you watched. :)
Nice video i also have to find it in the Netherlands

Hi pan, i know it’s been a few months since this vid but i finally got my hands on the wolfgang rinseless wash. i noticed on the back of the bottle the company suggests 1oz to 3gal for a rinseless wash and 1oz to 1 gal for a clay lube. Have you tried it at this ratio? just wondering if it’s necessary to use 3x the amount of product at 3oz to 1gal as you suggested. thanks!!
Yes you can use it at their recommended dilution, I just find that the dilution I recommend in the video gives more lubrication.
Hey Pan great video, Can I use this quick detailer such ad Meguia’s synthetic X-press spray wax,?
Or what is the diference in this two?
Thank you
The quick detailer in this video is just to quick detail, not to add protection. Meguiar's Xpress wax ads a bit of protection for 1-2 weeks.
Pan!! How do you make your own clay luber ?? Great videos btw
Exactly like in this video.
Hey Pan! I’m in search of a good diy quick Detailer and really want to mix this one up with some carpro reload. I have cquartz uk 3.0 on my car. Is the Wolfgang rinseless okay to use with the reload in my instance?
Yup
Is this better than chemical guys or megs last touch?
So if I use an IPA after claybaring with that product will I be able to ceramic coat or do I have to do something else to prep the paint to get ready to ceramic coat?
There’s more to it. Watch my tutorial on how to properly apply a ceramic coating: czcams.com/video/sqQYVjxFqK0/video.html
Is this good to use on a car with Cquartz? The reason I ask is that i hear people say they don't use this or ONR as the rinseless wash because it affects the beading on a coating. I'm currently using Uber on my car and I love it! I haven't coated it yet
No problem. I use it on my coated car.
Great tips is there any other products that I could use to make one ?
Yes you can use ONR like I spoke about in this video.
How do you feel about the onr wash and wax green one over the blue?
I bought the green and blue onr before seeing Scott's video too. So I have to find something to do with it. Maybe use it for clay lube
I don’t use the green one because I don’t want soaps with waxes iin them.
Hi Pan. Is the Optimum No Rinse safe to use on Gyeon quartz coatings? (As a quick detailer/to remove bird poo between washes)
Yup!
can I use the Wolfgang Si02 infused to clay bar my car then add my griots 3-1 or will this interfere with the bonding?
It’s fine with sprays. I would have said avoid using a lube with protection if you were applying a real ceramic coating in a glass bottle.
I read a quick detailer was supposed to leave a very light layer of wax to protect the paint(it's not merely a lubricant to wipe your car free of light dust, etc.), will this homemade mixture do that? What about using the Wolfgang SiO2 rinseless wash, what does the silicon dioxide do?
Not all quick detailers lay down wax. This DIY mixture isn’t designed to add protection.
If you want a quick detailer that has awesome gloss and ads a bit of SiO2 protection, look at the Gyeon Ceramic Quick Detailer that I included in my glossiest products video here: czcams.com/video/ERTQz-NTz1Y/video.html
Hey pan. How long does the stuff last before it breaks down and smelling funky? I know ONR once diluted lasts maybe a month before it feels like completely chemically broke down
I go through so much product it’s hard for me to know lol
Are these safe for A ceramic coated PPF black car?
Hi there Pan, can you tell me where I can get the top on the bottle of ONR to measure the liquid... thanks
