I use the seeker 3 on a chest rig for woods walks, it is perfect for lighting up the area.

Just got the 4 Pro and love it! Got the four mini as well and that's another great one that also offers the UV light and is pretty bright in that spectrum. That would have made a nice compare here as well... 👍🔦👍

In the UK Olight still only offer a 5 year warranty, I wish their offerings were universal.
Is the previous holster you showed available separately as I can’t find a holster for the Seeker 4?
Ohmygosh I'm on it! The seekers are my favorite lights.
I like the color temp of that lateen and the spill probably more than I even care that it has a speaker on it. How does it compare to the other Olight lanterns in terms of color? The light off this one seems like it’s a soft light that mimics a traditional burning lantern. Perfect for camping/ sitting by the fire or hanging out outdoors at night.
Olight was slick. They made the charging holster incompatible with the Seeker 3 by making that larger charging ring. I wonder if the tail caps are interchangeable?
I’m curious too, please let me know if you find out. I do have the Seeker 2 Pro, hope it works for that one as well.
The purpose was not to make it incompatible, but getting the easiest and most affordable way for the lockout function in the holster.
If they made it compatible, they would have needed a dedicated pcb with an SoC in the holster to communicate with the torch.
Obviously that would make it unnessessarry expensive and more complex.

Still EDC carry my Seeker 2 (non Pro) with their old plastic holster. Seeker 4 Pro looks to be a great upgrade. Especially love that you can fine tune the brightness and the stronger magnet. Also that compared to Seeker 2 it has better cooling and has a heat sensor. Not a fan of the auto lockout though.

Why is the first time I’m seeing the orange holster?! I never got one of those! That’s my favorite color and I have just about every Olight ever offered in orange 😂

Im having a hard time choosing between the seeker 4 pro and the arkfeild pro i can only get one. During the next sale harley i trust you which one woukd you choose?
Depends what you want. An EDC light or a general purpose kinda do-all light. If you’re after something to carry, go with the Arkfeld. The Seeker is more of a do-all light
I'm interested in the lantern music and I have every lantern version Olight has made. I was just really hoping that when Olight went to a music product that it was the Haloop first. Either way I have my order placed and looking forward to using the Seeker 4 pro and a few of the other new products but I think the Oclip is the real winner this month.

i never invested in those versions, so unfortunately, i didn't have them for comparison.
@@HarleyWood23 the non pro models didn't stick around long before being replaced by pro versions. I'm not really sure why they bothered when they had a pro version in the works already. It seemed like only a couple months before they were upgraded and they quit making the non pro
Does the new tail cap fit on the seeker 3? That has been my main complaint that the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold the light!
I bet it's not. They intentionally made holster incompatible with version 2/3. The only reason why there are two rings is to make it incompatible.
To answer my own question it does NOT they changed polarity on the battery 👎

That lantern is pretty cool love the warm and cool emitter and a speaker can't go wrong The only thing I hate about a new flashlight from them is it's not necessarily an upgrade. Maybe if they made it like five thousand Or fifty three hundred lumens then I would call it an upgrade. But I like the interface on this one a lot. It's really sleek the new holster is pretty nice I just wish they would give us some more power instead of a few hundred more than the last one. But I get it You can only get so much out of so little without having to make the flashlight bigger
Thank you for the video it’s awesome. Is it just me or is there anyone else that notices or appears that the seeker 4 is not putting out as much light as the seeker 3 and seeker 2, especially on the target area in the far back of the picture…if in fact if it isn’t putting out enough light. Could that be because the 4 had stepped down from Turbo? Look forward to hearing from anyone on this.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this, to my eyes the 3 and the 2 were clearly the winners, I could definitely see so much more then the 4... second thoughts on the 4 now...

Yes. Very blue-white in the S4. Nasty! The throw is certainly reduced. I just cannot have the long press turn on the light (you did not cover this).

That is the reason i got the 4.
Better flood and neutral white, so waaaaay better color reproduction and waaay better light to see Details.
Yes neutral white is not that bright.
But those CW LEDs are just for "see my horsepower baby" but actually are in a disadvantage.
You see less detail even with brighter light. Because all colors are completely off.
You will notice the hughe difference in a direct comparsion.
This is the reason why so many want neutral white and why olight finally made it happen.

I like the new Seeker 4 Pro features, and since there is now a Neutral White version available, I'll upgrade. Only in the black, so although I too like that blue, black it is. ;-) The 3 did seem to be a bit warmer than the CW 4. Olight has lived up to their logo and gone full circle from the original R50 Seeker Pro to the Seeker 4 Pro. The R50 LE edition had a secure charging dock or cradle that could be mounted or stood anywhere and now the 4 has a charging holster that can be stood or mounted. At 3:15 you state that the R50 has a battery indicator, mine does not have one and that is one of its few lacks compared to the new versions. It only had a low of 60 lumens which is why the max runtime was only 50 hours. That is also one of its lacks, try reading or filling out paperwork at 60 lumens, way too bright. I had to buy that larger portable charging cable as it did not come with the LE version that had the charging dock. It is too bad the cables are not compatible, but I think the reason is that at the time the MCC3 cable that would charge faster was still a dream and they wanted a faster charge time for the 26650 battery. The larger battery diameter might have lent itself to that decision. Too bad it did not have the two rings of the Seeker 4 Pro, then one could have used the larger one for faster charging, and a smaller one for, it will charge eventually, with the regular cable. Too bad it would not make economic sense for them to retrofit the butt cap like that with two rings and add a battery indicator to the cap at the same time. 😄
My start with the R50 Seeker Pro was rocky, it did not work. I had bought an extra battery and the light did not work properly with either. It turned out that the fault lay with the batteries. Once Olight replaced those it has worked fine ever since. Apparently they got a bad batch of batteries. I have had the light for years and at the moment am not sure where the extra battery is. if it is not in a plastic bin. in which I keep batteries. I dimly recall the second one might have stopped working, so perhaps I don't have it any longer. Where is my memory when I need it? Rueful laugh. ;-) Anyway that light lives on the window sill within reach.

All of you CZcamsrs have gotten this wrong so far. You do not have to turn the dial on the 4 pro to unlock it.
If we “all” got it wrong, then maybe they didn’t do a great job of explaining it. Please explain.
@HarleyWood23 you can also hold down the button till it comes on moonlight mode and it will be unlocked
First 9 minutes of this video were almost completely worthless
