- Hi Nail Besties!!
I'm super excited to show you guys my water color palette that I purchased on Amazon. I've been seeing these kind of nail watercolor pallets all over instagram and wanted to give it a try.
In this video I'm showing you guys how I used it. This is the first time I'm using it so let's hope it turns out.
I'll keep it minimal so I won't be doing any voice over. Enjoy!!
✍🏻✍🏻 Let me know down in the comments below if you've tried this water color palette or if you would like to try it. If you have questions regarding this palette let me know.

Great design. 👌
I ordered one of these from Amazon also I got the Macaron set I wish I would have gotten both 😁.. I have yet to try it out but the colors are beautiful 💙
Oooh, I've been seeing those but have been hesitate to purchase it. Maybe one of these days I will also invest in getting it.
@@pinkpineapplenails it's the same thing you have it was just another color option
Can you make a video please with tips and tricks on useing the watercolour pallet ? :)
ok will do. 😁😁
Can u plz tell me wat did u apply in the start is it transparent base coat ?
at the beginning I applied a matte top coat to get it ready for the water color.
Can this be used as makeup as well ?
I don't think you can use it for makeup. The pallet comes pretty hard and you. need to activate with water. Although would 🤔 it work, like maybe an liquid eyeliner 🤷.
Is that angel paper on there as well
Yes they are. ❤️❤️
@@pinkpineapplenails I love it and I would love to see how you use the angel papers please 💙
Hello! I got the same pallet as well, but i got a problem with my client, all the design went off ... The steps were the same, i used matte top coat, i painted the hole nail with the gold one from the pallet, then used a top coat, painted a design with pasta gel and at the end finished with top coat again! And after 3 days everything over the watercolor peeled off... Have you faced the same problem?
Oh no!! Did you use a base coat/Regular Top coat to seal everything first? If not, I recommend doing so because Matte Top Coat loves to drag any colors. That's usually what I would do first seal with any clear gel and than Matte Top. Shouldn't have any issues if you do that. 😊😊
@@pinkpineapplenails the matte was under the watercolor so it can be stay and not slip..
The layers were these: matte, watercolor all over the nail, top coat, pasta design, top coat..
So everything was sealed with top as you said at the finish point..
So if you understand, the matte was the base.., as they suggest to Paint with watercolor
Perhaps buffer the surface should be more safe instead of using matte or put some primer on the watercolor in order to be bond with the top coat(?)
ok, gotcha. What matte top coat are you using? Correct me here, so it was the pasta gel design that lifted off and not the water color design underneath? Or was it the whole design that lifted, including the water color? My only thought on this would be that the pasta design that went on the Top coat layer might be that you didn't buff out the top coat layer. Alot of time when you put a design on a top coat layer you have to remember to buff because top coat layers are smooth and shiny and gels are not going to stick onto that. See if that helps, and update me on it. Also make sure that you are letting the watercolor dry completely before putting anything on top.
@@pinkpineapplenails you are right, perhaps i didn't explain it well, but your guess was right, all the design with the watercolor went off... Everything after the matte ...
And i did let it dry enough..
I don't know .. it needed more time? If you haven't seen it before, maybe that's the reason... I can't guess what else
Or perhaps because i covered all the edges with the aquarella, there was nowhere the top coat could bond and secure.. (?)
