Fun fact. Corey Taylor has a vocal range of about six octaves I believe. If you know what that means then you know he has more of a range than he shows. And it’s a fuck ton. He’s up there with Maria Carey and Axl Rose..

I took my 9 year old and 14 year old daughters to Knotfest back in July and they had the time of their lives! Metal heads from an early age!
I was supposed to see them on june 2nd but it got cancelled cause of coronavirus. I even had a plan of how to sneak out to skip school and make sure my mom didn't get the phone call 😂. Its awesome to see some dads are keeping the metal spirit alive amongst all this rap crap kids these days listen to

Actually? Lmao I literally read the title of the song for the first time and thought to myself "I agree"
Fans can say what they want about this song but it truly shows how talented and brilliant Slipknot is. Like I've always said, metal musicians are the greatest. Many are classically trained and most can play anything. Fast, slow, rhythmic, tempo changes, distortion, downtempo, ambient, ect... Metal makes everything better. Amazing song by the way.

According to something I read a few years ago after the first time I saw this band live and heard this song for the first time this song is expressing Corey Taylor’s love/hate relationship with the music industry. The part where he says “Maybe I should let her go,
But only when she loves me,
How can I just let her go?,
Not until she loves me.” Is referring to how a lot of people in the industry is pushing against him for his choice in music and the way his band plays it out with the masks and the star logo and everything. He’s talking about how he would leave if the music industry loved him but also about how the only thing that can hurt the music industry is the music industry. This is one of my favorite Slipknot songs. I know Slipknot is a very heavy band and I love that their shows are amazing but their songs like this one and “Snuff” are just so saturated in emotions and meaning that it feels like you’re in Corey Taylor’s head.
Just a little surprising fact but when I saw them in 2015 in Tampa, FL that show was Corey Taylor’s return to playing live after getting a hairline fracture in his neck. How’d he break his neck you might ask. HEADBANGING!! This guy head banged so hard he BROKE HIS NECK!! They said if he moved his neck just a little in the wrong direction he would’ve been paralyzed!!!!

At one of the Parkway Drive concerts I went to, bohemian rhapsody was played just before Parkway came on Nd it was the best thing ever, so many people crowd surfing and singing along to Queen, it was sick. When Parkway came on, Winston did say that they know we can sing cause they heard us from backstage, it was amazing.
