When it come to the energy resistance you mention during the Onslaught fight, he has SIGNIFICANTLY more than half of what Absman has even though Absman has nearly double the rating. 8500 energy resistance is about an 81% decrease in damage, but 5000 is "only" 71.4%. Diminishing returns really comes into play here
Also OG Ironman gains a s**t tonne of armour rating - 7 star R2 at max ramp has about 13.6k iirc

Would have never thought to R2 my war machine before watching this video. Never knew about the energy resistance level, best rotation for damage, or the onslaught countering!
I always wished he got a fourth pre-fight that gave him an energize considering he needs 7 bars of power to fully ramp. But other than that he is a very good champ. One of my first 5 7*s
That would be a great synergy, I feel like Ironman should give him that. Like an arc reactor overcharge.
I 100% agree with your take on War Machine bro while he may not be the most sought after champion, he is definitely underrated for a support/offence aspect
Got him at rank 3 myself, definitely underrated. Decent on defense too with the Sp1, catches people off guard sometimes
ive always had a soft spot for war machine, i dont use him as much but always enjoy it when i do... ps that 2 light hit before the last projectile of onslaught's sp1 is a good call cause i tend to always mess up timing in trying to dash in and dex 🤣🤣

He’s definitely underrated, been a fan of him since day 1 of his buff.
He was a questing MVP for me as a 6 star. Also his awakened ability is so absurdly underrated. He shines in non BG, eg war, questing, AQ. A massive regen? And the sig curve is awesome?
And he is so bloody simple to play. Yeah no sp2 and sp3 for ramp up. But 2 sp2 and a BG fight is over.

Ironically I have a 7 star duped War Machine. In my opinion I’m not sure if he’s worth the R2 though.
Honestly, the only reason I haven’t taken him to r2… is I hate the idea of his armor up not coming back if you lose it for some reason

I just duped my wm and i’m not happy. I wish i liked him but he’s just way too slow. You compared him to mr f but mr f has a lot of increased combat power rate and he’s still slow. To each their own, i just don’t like slow champs and 2 sp2s and a sp3 without power gain takes a long time.
