There is such a need for these men in Louisiana State Prison Angola to be given a second chance. These men are incredible and many are first, first time offenders. Thanks to Burl Cain for his work to help these men find God and give them ways to educate and make men of these people. Louisiana needs to change some laws. God bless these and other men.
Angola is the Serpent stronghold, but JESUS is able to penetrate even there. I have a loved one that is incarcerated in Angola, and living for Christ Jesus is hard there when you have guards that really go out of their way to make it hard for them. This video is true to the word, but they need our support no matter how little just knowing that someone cares beyond the prison doors means a lot

I watch these videos, because I made a mistake that cost me 9 yrs old my life in a prison,it was only by the grace of God I didn't end up doing a life sentence, I'll never forget that blessing.

His sentence was die by electrocution. Law changed & his sentence then went to life. He’s served 44 years. The Governor/Pardoning Board has to approve the release, eligible begins at 40 years. My dad will likely die there, due to his crime. Yes, we can forgive him, however, he may be safer there.
This really has helped me a lot and when urges come up to do anything is to put my mind in a awesome place and stay out of prison or jail and I couldn't handle prison at all I'm being real with y'all and God and I came across you guys videos and it has gotten to me greatly it can happen to anybody from this point on no more wrong doing for me and I will be happy and with family as well. I went to a form of scared straight at Angola at 16 being one of the at risk kids from New Orleans. Shit was one of the scariest things I ever experienced. A prisoner explained how you could be sold for a box of joes, i was fucked up by that, shit still resonates today and That was like 2000
Very true and God will FORGIVE you and you will have to FORGIVE yourself and others and I try to teach and preach to these young kids do the right thing and don't follow anyone go be yourself and be someone and to tell them young people I'm 37 I did practically 2 weeks in jail and it's no place you want to be!!!!

Not those who could benefit; not those who reject morality. My heart hurts for these men, and for those who are not here, yet could be. Society discounts prison religion or salvation. But you often have to come face to face with yourself, and no one else to blame. The woulda, coulda, shoulda's haunt us all. We suffer with regret. These men are no worse than you or I, no worse than society. They were caught in their crimes, their sins. We haven't been. Yet. Please think about that.
