As a Muslim I had a very negative impression about Judaism. But after listening to some of your lectures I have a respect towards it. Because we have so many things in common. But I must say it is the politicians who are making us enemies of each other.
rejaul karim I agree to some extent , but it’s not just politicians. Our politicians, especially Arab politicians, will never be true problem solvers in that region. They do whatever helps them keep their control and rule. They acted and talked as revolutionaries in the past and now they are itching to load off the Palestinian cause and are racing each others to establish ties with Israel. But, the Palestinian issue is a real problem, and it’s hard for a Muslim to ignore the injustice against them no matter how much we want to reconnect and live in peace with our Jewish brothers. I hope a just solution is found soon so that both people may live in peace again, whether in one country or two. We need more reasonable people like in this video.

juan okita Allah is in Arabic, in English it means “The God” and we as muslims believes that he is the almighty the god of Adam, Abraham, Israel(Jakop), Moses, Jesus (Messiah), Mohamed, and all the prophets (these prophets are well known in the Abrahamic religion but there are over 100k prophets and over 300 of them were messengers at the same time) also we muslims believe in all of them (even tho we don’t know much about the others but having that belief that there were prophets aside from whom I mentioned is enough) also we believe in the holy books other that the Quran like the Gospel and the Torah (All muslims believe in these holy books, if they don’t they are not muslims, BUT we don’t follow them because we believe they were changed by humans) also we believe other holy books where there before the Old Testament. The day they rejected the Prophet Isa (Alaihis Salaam) they ceased to be the chosen people. That time too has passed now, Now they have to accept both prophet Isa Alaihis Salaam and Prophet Muhammad (Sallalaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) and become Muslims.
They are ment to be similar, as the one is the new corrected version of the other. think of it like windows xp, vista, and 7. what i want to say, is that all the prophet are descendant of abraham, and each religion mentions the prophet of the early religions, while they also mentioned the last messenger. as a christian monk recognized prophet mohamed when he was a child before the revelation, and ordered his uncle to hide him and protect him otherwise he will be killed , if other people discover him. when muhammed was born a star was shining that the Jews (of i'm not wrong) ,those of Khawbar ( now El Madina) knew that Muhammed was born. however, books have changed due to the influence of other empires , and due to the translations... that's why muhammed doesn't appear to be mentioned in new versions. to give an idea how much the bible were altered and changed, the trinity were added just few centuries back. and it doesn't appear in old versions. that's why a new religion and another messenger was required, to correct and guide the humain kind that began to lose the right path.
Aslam-O-Alaikum. Brother as you mentioned about circumcision of boys on the 8th day in Judaism. Quran also prefers on the 8th day, but its not mandatory on the 8th day in Islam. We can perform it later too. Even in some areas people circumcise their boys, when they are of many years old. But the prefered way is on 8th day also in Islam.

They try to follow the teachings of Moses (pbuh) as they understand them, according to what they have preserved of the Torah (what we call the Taurat). Our cousin peace be unto you, yes the issue of marrying more than one wife it is allowed but the man must do justice between the wives, otherwise it's better to marry one. With my understanding i believe Jews christians and muslims are cousins to each other, So basically we are all same but even before that we are humans which is our first relationship. As a Muslim I had a very negative impression about Judaism. But after listening to some of your lectures I have a respect towards it. Because we have so many things in common. But I must say it is the politicians who are making us enemies of each other.

They do whatever helps them keep their control and rule. They acted and talked as revolutionaries in the past and now they are itching to load off the Palestinian cause and are racing each others to establish ties with Israel. But, the Palestinian issue is a real problem, and it’s hard for a Muslim to ignore the injustice against them no matter how much we want to reconnect and live in peace with our Jewish brothers. I hope a just solution is found soon so that both people may live in peace again, whether in one country or two. We need more reasonable people like in this video.

Aslam-O-Alaikum. Brother as you mentioned about circumcision of boys on the 8th day in Judaism. Quran also prefers on the 8th day, but its not mandatory on the 8th day in Islam. We can perform it later too. Even in some areas people circumcise their boys, when they are of many years old. But the prefered way is on 8th day also in Islam.

They try to follow the teachings of Moses (pbuh) as they understand them, according to what they have preserved of the Torah (what we call the Taurat). Our cousin peace be unto you, yes the issue of marrying more than one wife it is allowed but the man must do justice between the wives, otherwise it's better to marry one. May God educate us to that level that we could properly interpret our religions and I’m sure one day future generations will realise that the first relationship between us is the humanity and nothing else we will all accountable to god so spread this knowledge among us that at least we have to respect each other believes despite differences.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:
وَمَنْ يَرْغَبُ عَنْ مِّلَّةِ إِبْرٰهِـۧمَ إِلَّا مَنْ سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ وَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنٰهُ فِى الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى الْأَاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّٰلِحِينَ
"And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 130)
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥٓ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِينَ
"When his Lord said to him, Submit, he said I have submitted [in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 131)
وَوَصّٰى بِهَآ إِبْرٰهِـۧمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يٰبَنِىَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفٰى لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُونَ
"And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 132)
أَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَآءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنۢ بَعْدِى قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ إِلٰهَكَ وَإِلٰهَ ءَابَآئِكَ إِبْرٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحٰقَ إِلٰهًا وٰحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ
"Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, What will you worship after me? They said, We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 133)
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُمْ مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْئَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
"That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 134)
وَقَالُوا كُونُوا هُودًا أَوْ نَصٰرٰى تَهْتَدُوا ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرٰهِـۧمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
"They say, Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided. Say, Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 135)
قُولُوٓا ءَامَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ إِلٰىٓ إِبْرٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسٰى وَعِيسٰى وَمَآ أُوتِىَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ
"Say, [O believers], We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 136)
. Jesus Christ of Christianity and iyssya ibn Maryam of Muslims is not the same . Life of both are different from each other . Life of Mother of Jesus was A Married woman , through Christian Sources . Life of Mother of Íyssya was A unmarried woman , through Muslim Sources .
