Tiqqun Sofeirim makes me wonder to what extent the Tanach was altered by Jews to make Judaism look appealing.

If you read Ibne Sena's Necessary Existence, you will get the problem solved. Both Islam and Judaism gets this problem which is easily solvable by Ibne Sena's concept

We muslims know that Jews (their scholars) tested Muhammad p.b.u.h. to check if he was a real messenger of God or not even though he was described in detailes in Torah. Te be specific,they asked him three questions: what makes a child look like his father or his mother,what will be the first food that people who enter Paradise will eat,and they asked him about the seven cave sleepers. All of the three questions he answered correctly..They told him clearly that they would ask him qurstions that only a messenger of God knows the answe to. That is the correct way of thinking cause true monotheistic religion is all about solid proof and not just blidly following like pagans and nowdays secularists. Hereafter is not a joke and each individual will bear the concequences and therefore we can't just follow the emotions or impression.But bare in mind that God does what He wills and reveales what and when He wills out of His Wisedom. Each new revelation that came cinfirmed the previouse one adding or changing some laws,Allah only knows why and that is His absolute right. It'd for the benefite of people themselves and to test them weather they truly worship Him or their own tribes,habits and customs. The muslims themselves were tested when the direction of prayer was changed (by revelation) from Jerusalem to Makkah (the Kaabah),so they just accepted it as it is,all their previouse prayers were accepted,no injustice was done to anyone. So,when the divine law changed,people must remember it 's God's Decree,not Muhammad's or Jesus' and being obediant makes you successful and loved by God! Also,for example if a woman obeys her husband in what is allowed in religion,she doesn't do it for him,but for God Who ordered it. And if later in life she divorces that man,or he dies and she marries someone elise she muat treat the first one like a total stranger and obey the new one no matter how she feels, which one of the two is better,who she loves more,who treated her better....all because,and only because of the right God gave to the husband,not the man himself. When Jesus comes back to this world,we muslims will follow him (which i strogly recoment to others too) regardlesly to the fact that he is not "our" Mujammad. If Moses was , to come and we were told by Muhammad p.b.u.h.to follow him,we most cetrainly would.

Islam is the only religion that allah/hasham accepts, which means Adam, Noah, Abraham,Ishmael,isack, Jakob, Joseph, mosses, Aron,David,Solomon, yashua and Mohammad are all Muslims but allah give them different sharias(Book and papers) and he send them to a different communities. Unlike other prophets and messenger Mohammad is sent to all human kind, while (Joseph, mosses, Aron, David,Solomon, and Issa were sent to the children of Israel). The revelation that Muhammad has given is called furqan, as Issa was given the injil and David zabur and as mosses is Torah, so all these books that was given to different prophets in a different time makes up Islam, and as allah sends new revelation the old one is automatically dismissed and outdated. Eg. Torah is invalid when Issa come with injil/gospel and gospel is invalid when muhammad was revealed to Quran. All in all both Torah and injil was valid at some point of time until the Jews had changed and edited them with their own hands, so why does allah need to take some verses from books that are corrupted. Finally Quran has many scientific miracles that doctors and scientists agree with it and also Quran has linguistic miracles that no one has ever successfully wrote one verse like Quran while old and new testimonies have many versions that are clearly indicating they are no more than history books. So for your claim that Muhammad had taken verses from your book is false while Muhammad himself was illiterate/ let along copying scripts 😂

There are lots of prophecies from Prophet Muhammad SAW. Roman and Persian war is a single example. He mentioned about the last hour. He also said what will happen before the judgement day and here after. Lots of jews reverted to islam in his era because they knew the truth. Some of the hadiths are mentioned in Sahih Muslim as well
