I just wondered if you've ever tried either sewing the crochet part on to the gripper part or crocheting an edging that included the gripper part. Also The only shelf liner I've seen has holes that are too small (if you glue it on that doesn't matter) but I wanted to be able to crochet yarn into it so bought rug non skid backing. Holes in that are a great size. I love this idea and have not seen it anywhere else but here on your channel. Thank you so much. Now I wonder why I never thought of this

I was wondering how wide your's ended up. Mine was a little over 10 inches so I ripped it out and started with a shorter chain and got 8 inches which seems a perfect size to me
