This just highlights how underrated Krillin is as a fighter. Dude legit could have killed Nappa in the Saiyan Saga despite being much weaker than Nappa.
Oh you're here?!
@@jobsidian4219 of course. I love Dragon Ball.
Krillin is stronk
Aye Naruto Explained! What’s up? Love your vids.
Naruto Explained yea he had and still has a crazy level of potential. Imagine he secretly wishes to have the benefits of saiyan genetics. Actually said humanity instead. Then secretly busts out a new transformation. Then asks the dragon second wish to apply the zenkai boosts he would have had from his life.
Krillan: hey Goku can I punch you?
Goku: sure give it you best shot buddy
Krillan: quickly goes super krillan. Throws a punch.
Goku: what the?!!! (A trench was made across the city as countless died in Goku’s path)
Krillan: yea check it out I’m a super human.
Goku: How?
Krillan: I asked the dragon for the benefits of saiyan biology.
Goku: Just you right?
Krillan: Well yea did you think I said humanity to get the benefits.?? Oh I hope I phrased that right.
(Mean while Mr. Satan suddenly feels really strong. Not sure why and continues on. Asks Videl, hey honey how do you use ki. Oh like this. Suddenly Gohan noticed his wife was really really strong.)
Combining the destruction disc with the solar flare can actually be dangerous tactically.
I've wondered why he never used both simultaneously

Sonic well captain ginyu already demonstrated that the body doesn’t matter so much
Its really cool when you sit down and realize how many of Krillen's techniques kind of made up for his strength compared to some of the other fighters
Someone: Krillin....why did you teach wife the Destructo Disc?
Krillin: it's okay, she's 18.
Can I see her registration please?
why didnt he use the distructo disk just after solar flare ??
@@youthgamngpatnerz3300 because that would make him usefull and make goku redundant if krillin can just blind all his enemies and then cut them in half while their still blinded.
@@youtubestudiosucks978 fruit u toriyama
An incredible move sidelined like usual even though it could have ended enemies faster than required which would have saved lives
You know they can't have that happen.
Because what would they do for the next 50 episodes. 😉😉
It would save lives in that arc but it would mean characters. Wouldn't get the needed power ups to beat future villians so everyone would die
This why dragon ballz should make a what if series to show the zfighters getting thwre shine without plot armor or saving the kill for goku or vegeta. Thats why i like mondocool because he got alot of storylines where the other fighters get the job done
He threw out tons of them at once against Freiza, so it's not even a ki issue
Krillin wouldntve been bullied as much as he is if he used the kienzan wisely
a solar flare-destructo disc combo would be deadly
It's not so much using the kienzan "wisely" you have to understand that despite how powerful it is, the kienzan is still only about as good as it's user in terms of it's maneuverability, and the strength at which they can be thrown. Now, looking at that, you have to realize that someone like Freeza is far superior in every way to Krillin during that time, and he's a prodigy alien. So, dodging Krillin's attacks is easier to do, given the way he kinda just phased through that one initially. But, yea, I do agree that if he was more tactful I guess you could say, and was able to out maneuver his opponents then he'd have gotten more wins.
There's been a few times he used it properly and it just didnt work.
Against Frieza, he almost cut him in half but he dodged. Against Perfect Cell it just didn't work. Against Nappa, he dodged it at the very very last second.
It's an OP move, but it's either dodged or outright doesn't work when it's not dodged.
Stan Leech I never thought to do that lol
@@Xeno455 The Perfect Cell Kienzan was filler. Destructo Disc can cut through literally anything, and if he had used it legit, and Cell didn't dodge it, then he'd get rekt.
I know Beerus has no reason to learn the is move but imagine if he did. The Kienzan/Destrocto Disc Implemented with Hakai energy... Hakaizan or Destruction Slice?
That would be awesome!
(Reminds me of a something from Naruto)

A much faster moving hakai that tracks
Remember when the Kienzan/Destructo Disk almost killed Nappa & Frieza if they didn’t move. Krillin don’t play
To be honest I don't even think it would of killed Frieza unless it was going towards his head like the case with Nappa. Other wise...We already know Frieza being cut in half seemed like a minor inconvenience.
Expect cell
Lmao @ Krillin don't play 😂
Literally in video lol
@@Naruku2121 Though Frieza has no regeneration ability, his amazing survivability makes up for it,when it comes to the Destructo Disk,he was harmed by it in his 2nd form.
Had it cut him in half,Vegeta and the others could've ganged up on Frieza and beat him.
When Cell took no damage from that disc audibly made me gasp the first time I saw it.
It's all filler don't worry
@@Absinthis just curiosity but when gohan blocked and disintegrates from cell , is that moment 3:30 anime only too?
@@hedhog963 Yeah it only happens in the anime
@@Absinthis oh, cool, thanks have a good life person that i shall never see again, i guess
First time I saw Krillin launch it against Cell I wondered how Cell would be able to counter it...
4:03 very good point about Vegeta’s familiarity with the move. I always just assumed that Vegeta was a prodigy and learned the move after seeing Krillin use it once. He is still kind of a prodigy in terms of his fighting genius but your argument and the evidence you provide makes a lot more sense!
It makes even less sense for Vegeta to never use it though
Never caught that Vegeta must've known it already since he couldn't sense ki yet
That would make the most sense. Given what he did later and not knowing to sense ki he would have no idea the potency of that attack unless he could do some variant himself.
Knowing Kienzan cuts you no matte what has nothing to do with power sensing though
Geekdom, I think you might be wrong regarding Frieza's move:
During the Cell Games, when Cell used the discs that followed Goku around, King Kai (in the Japanese version of the anime, at least) notes that what Cell was doing was NEITHER a Kienzan NOR Sokidan (Yamcha's move), but recognized it as Frieza's move.
That is what he said in the video?
@@grydon6422 He didn't say that King Kai saying that it was neither a Kienzan or Sokidan.
I've been waiting for this. The Destructo Disc has been one of my favorite techniques and it always funny how everyone can make it work except for Krillin. But that has changed recently.
Frieza actually had most deadly moves combination like death beam can pierce through you without you even knowing it and his death saucer can kill an opponent anyhow cause it doesn't miss as Frieza controls it and it can cut anything, they are so dangerous that even Frieza himself isn't even 1% immune to them
It's like Metal Man from MM2 being weak to his own weapon the Metal Blade.
Goku learned the Hexa Blade from Krillin!! This is like the third time you missed that. The move he did on Jiren was the one Krillin did on him in training.
He should have called that move pizza cutter or evil flying pancake
That's not a pizza at all!
if goku had come up with it, it def woulda been pizza cutter

Much appreciated for this video Geekdom ✌️💯 Argubally the most OP move in the whole show, especially due to the fact that even KRILLIN almost defeated both Nappa AND Frieza when he uses this technique on the both of them. And I've always loved the concept of an energy disc that can cut an opponent in half with ease (for the most part, depending on who the opponent..... Like you stated, it did bounce off of Cell in a filler anime scene, but maybe it was the writer's way (Akira) of telling us that it can be ineffective against a much much stronger opponent). Again, much love Geekdom. And stay healthy, please.! 🤒😷🤧🤢🚫🙅♂️ For the sake of us in the Dragon Ball CZcams fandom! 😅👌💯
I promise these videos can't be long enough. Dope
Ah yes, Destructo Disk, or as Gotenks might call it, Galactic -Donut- Pancake
Another great video geekdom
Hell yeah!! My favorite DBZ technique!
My favorite thing about that move is that in games where it's his charing blast, it's UNDEFLECTABLE. like in budokai tenkaichi 3. That's why sometimes it's better to have a piercing weapon that relies on being sharp, rather than a blunt energy blast, which would just be force and heat.
Kind of odd how Cell did 2 different versions. First Frieza‘s And then Krillin’s.
Actually, Frieza's move was NOT a Kienzan.
@@LordMetalSonic1987 it's the same thing
Ruin Her Rectum Athens
Hodge twin picture with that name lmfao you need to calm down my friend haha
Adam Rumer corrected.
I use my Kienzan to crave my Christmas turkey, a very handy technique to know 🤣
A few things little off in this video:
1. The fact Frieza did do two discs at a time was nothing special because Krillin not only did three Kienzans before that point already, but he also did one big one that split into like 6 Kienzans. So it definitely was not until Super that ”he was able to launch 3 of them.” P.s. He launched 4 at time time anyway, which was the whole idea of the ”kienzan hexa blade” which Goku *copied during the ToP*
2. Yes, it was Krillin who controlled Kienzan’s movements first; it happened at that exact time they were sparring at the roof. Not only did he do the hexa blade, but before that he made all three discs turn around to hit Goku’s back.
3. The controlling doesn’t have anything to do with telekinesis. It’s just simple energy control like characters have done from the beginning of the series. They have controlled the direction of their ki blasts for a long time; for some reason the first example that comes to mind is Kid Trunks controlling the Ki blast to avoid hitting the audience back in the world tournament (Goten hadn’t learned it yet so he hit the roof with Kamehameha..)
To this day I still wonder if Goku mastered and knew how to properly evade the disc when he battled Frieza ?
About time geek.thx
Wow no mention of Goku using it on Buu? But awesome video geekdom I like the krillin spotlight
Kienzan did make into Swaggkage's list as #5 HAX in Dragon Ball. But the fact that it can cut pretty much anything and anyone, (maybe with a few exception) this is really deadly technique. If you combine it with Solar Flare (or Taioken) it will be pretty much a game over for anyone who face such combination of technique. Unless they have regeneration like Cell and Buu have.
I mean can you imagine if they blind their opponents with Taioken and then follow up with Kienzan? Yeah, unless they are immortal or have a very potent regeneration like Majin Buu, they are pretty much screwed. Although it is possible to survive if opponent is so much more powerful than the user of Kienzan to the point where Kienzan is harmless to them.
Thank you so much for correctly using the term "heartwarming" instead of "wholesome." "Wholesome" has become one of those trendy overused words recently and so many people online have been inappropriately using the term over the past year or two that it's been making the word lose all meaning.
People are dying in the world and you lose your sleep over how other people use words? Damn good luck
@@grydon6422 I dont think he's losing sleep it's just something that bugs him. Just because you make a comment doesn't mean that it is the most important thing in the commentors life
Could you talk about the mouth beam? I feel like it’s a pretty unique move that only a few characters have used.
Thanks for keeping at it in this difficult time Geekdom. Your dedication to your fans and your content is greatly appreciated and always enjoyed.
Thx for supporting Dragon Ball FighterZ
Frieza: I've waited so long
Goku: yeah you were so close I could feel it
Geeky, you forgot 1 instance of it being used. In the Buu arc, right when Goku appears to save Gohan from Buutenks' attack he does this by hitting him with a surprise kienzan. Not sure if it was filler or not but Goku has definitely used it this 1 time in the original series. Many many years before fighting Jiren.
I heard them in Kai dub said their techniques in original Japanese names like Makankosappo (Special Beam Cannon), Taiyō-ken (Solar Flare), and in this case Kienzan (Destructor Disc)
Personally, what I believe would be a nearly perfect 3 move Checkmate in Dragonball would be The Solar Flare/Taioken x100, than the Death Saucer/Super Hexa Kienzan, and finally the Super KAMEHAMEHA or equivalent beam attack. The only type of enemy that would have a chance to survive is either a literal God Tier above you in power or has super fast regeneration abilities like Buu.
It's kind of an RPG gamer strategy of applying debuffs and disablers before using a high damage one time attack to finish. Blind, maime, than Ult them off.
TFS actually kinda pointed out how Krillin could have done this to 2nd form Freeza in DBZA.
Goku and Vegeta also use variants of this move in the movies (called Tail Slicer) and Base Vegeta has this move in DBFZ.
I was always under the assumption that the concept of the move was similar to the "special beam cannon" in that you highly concentrate the ki and make is spin. This concentration and spinning/drilling allows you to deal damage to higher tier foes that would be able to resist regular blasts. Meaning while it is effective against higher tier enemies if they still outclass you by too much they are still going to be able to resist it based on the sheer level of their ki defense like we see with Cell and Gohan.
This technique and his baldness and lack of nose is the reason why I think a Krillin-Chiaotzu fusion is perfect. Krillin's Kienzan with Chiaotzu psychokinesis are amazing an amazing combination. People often think the Kienzan is incomplete because Krillin can't control it like Frieza does, but imagine the opposite, that Chiaotzu's psychokinesis holds the enemy in its place enough to allow Krillin's Kienzan to strike. Then it would be the perfect technique and we know the fusion has a huge boost in power meaning It would not be useful against godly entities as low tier as the Kaioshins but it could be powerful enough to take down enemies like Moro's henchman Zauyogi with ease.
honestly, i always kinda assumed that cell was aware as he dose have quite the brain power from piccolo, freeza, vegeta, and even krillin if I am not mistaken so was able to protect himself, especially since we see he was holding back a fuck ton of power when he and goku later were beating the crap out of each other
The whole Cell thing is non canon, if it was real Cell’s head would lay on the ground, though he could just regenerate
You give Goku credit for the multi-disc technique, but Krillin showed him that technique before the ToP
Geekdom is awesome!
hey @geekdom101 maybe i am experiencing a mandela effect but as i commented on the video for the solar falre/tayo-ken wasnt there a solar flare/tayo-ken destructo disk/kienzan hybrid i swear that happened at least once
Geekdom, for techniques explained, can you do the super ghost kamikaze technique by Gotenks?
6:50 Death Saucer is Freiza's, Krillin's is Destructo Disk. In Raging Blast 2 thats how they have it named, and honestly they have the best and most accurate naming of techniques and characters in my opinion.
Man... Do a video on the evolution of Android 18!!! She is a fairly vague character in many ways in my opinion. If like to see your take on her and her comparison nto 17 since they are supposed to be twins
,....we been waiting a minute for this,....
Now it's here....lol
Krillin's a G at Ki manipulation and sensing hidden Ki.
Scatter Kamehameha is an underrated technique
Have you done spirit ball explained and if not can you do it
I never knew why this move wasn't used more. Seems like a good move to just throw out there in case it can one shot an enemy.
In DragonBall Fighterz, Krillin uses the "Destructo Disc Barrage" if you spam the move multiple times at once, ofc uses a Ki bar per disc
Nappa: I'm gonna be the best male model ever.
Krillin: Hold my Kienzan!
Yeahhhh yeahhhhh; the Kienzan (Destructo Disc) is definitely an OP technique (argubally an "Uber" type of technique in the right user's hands/against the right opponent), it looks dope along with the concept of it's use and power, and it's argubally the most underrated/underused move in the series..
But where in the hell is Trunks with that damn vaccine for the coronavirus? 👀😨🤔 Will we have to wait 3 more years for his much needed appearance?? Hey Geekdom can we get a technique guide on the fan favorite Kamehameha?
Ooh im gonna check out the second channel
Vegeta is a prodigy when it comes to fight, and krillin really created one of the most powerful attacks
I am a verry picky power scalper like seth. and what Geekdom means is the is the "discructo disk is used on a person capable of the move itself, and/ or close in power ,they can block it, or catch it like gohaan and if the target happenes to be a complete TEER Higher beond the millions it can be over powered regardless assuming there on guard to some reguard
Do a video of piccolos special move special beam cannon
Perfect Cell wasn't affected as that was Anime Only they wanted to say he was stronger than Freeza- so if you think about it it's non canon since it never happened in the manga
Now imagine if you combined the Destructo Disc with actual Hakai Energy…
6:17 - So Basically the move is a creative Commons.
(I prefer death saucer for Frieza alone because it sounds like it's tailored specifically to him...)
Hold on, a move that krillin knows that all the villains are stealing and Goku isn't first in line to take it?
What are these? Inverted controls?
I’m early for this one😆

I read somewhere that Vegeta's Galick Gun is a Varation of the Kame Hame Ha.
Keep in mind. Krillen killed the Cell in their timeline.
I love how Frieza saw it and was like hey maybe I can do that then created the death saucer and
So quick note: Krillin used the hexablade kienzan in his battle against Goku. I feel like you mentioned this on Twitter
It's likely where Goku got it from when he utilized it against Krillin a nice way to tie in their training arc.
Pretty sure it was anime only, off the top of my head, but Kuririn split the Kenzan into several discs, and controlled all of them when fighting form 2 Freeza. Probably the most technical display of the move in the series.
There’s a version of the Kai English dub where they do say the real names. I thought it was pretty cool.
This technique is a...CUT ABOVE, the rest.
With all the classics being overshadowed by the new techniques out there, it’s nice to have a...SLICE, of nostalgia.

The OG Freeza Slicer
Frieza’s version has always been called Death Saucer in video games, and the fact that Cell does it and it’s still it’s unique colour and capabilities means it is technically a different technique.
Check out tien first z fighter
If Krillin remember to use this move more often, he would be one of Dragon Ball's most OP characters.
Is it possible to compress the Spirit Bomb into a Kienzan?
My favorite Kienzan comes from the fanmade _Dragon Ball Multiverse_ webcomic/webmanga, pages 1573 through 1575.
"Pretty cool that these guys were able to learn from Frieza"
Meanwhile...Yamcha's Spirit Ball doesn't require telekinesis.
The Kienzan is one of my favorite Dragon Ball moves. I like to call it the Slicing Pizza.
Hilarious I know.
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
How much I'd love to see Krillin just Hereditary Nappa.
No mention about Jiren interactions with the kienzan
I wish that Maren would use a wish to have the other z fighters stronger. Or at last be able to complete with
Goku and the great Vegeta!
Didn't the dub call freeza's attack the tienzai disc or maybe the kienzan disc(I know its the dub and they change alot but it's still weird to me)
so when krillin chopped off frieza tail in his second form it worked but could krillin of done the same to final form frieza?
When it hits you that Vegeta has one of the deadliest moves in Dragon Ball, but never uses it? My lord what a non-threat Moro would have been if Vegeta hadn't forgot that this ability exists... lol (I know Goku has it to, but Goku's refusal to kill prevents him from getting the most out of this attack).
Cell knows the kienzan so I'm not surprised he knew how to negate it maybe put a ki field at the last second. Jiren also negated it by just hitting Gokus kienza which I would assume was stronger than krillins
My theory is that the destructo disc worked on cell, cell regeneration was so powerful at the time it just healed instantaneously
If only he developed Kienzan x100. That'd be crazy!
Should have brought up the fact that it was also used in GT and Goku was able to once again defeat frieza with it in much the same way
@Aaron
Indeed man, people really became DBS fanboys really quickly and forgot about GT
