@@androswolf Thank you. I think a piece like this (with lyrics) by CDP is an incredibly huge plus for a menu or a trailer. But for most of the time I'd like to keep DoD without (background) music. Plus it's a huge effort to create such a song and we all have only so much time and resources.

My ref to a Lich King was more of a general one: Undead King leading an undead army, even a reference to a potential phylactery in the song.
Not really. It's older based than that so far as the game play goes, however I couldn't pass up the reference chance.

(Idk if it would be Dwarf related though, DRG's music had no lyrics and Dwarf Fortress's lyrical songs aren't really CDP's songs. Diggy diggy hole was the dwarf game song, but maybe there's something more general fantasy they will do)

God, this song invariably messes me up. I haven't played the game so I've got zero clue as to the actual plot, but with the chorus the way the song sounds to me shifts from being a cautionary tale put in song to...well, what comes to mind is dwarves mourning a once-beloved hero lost to darkness.
