- I was finally able to start the break in process on the BR 40 Reed Engine today. Amidst this whole pandemic situation it was nice to finally get out. Also stay tuned at the end i shared another passion of mine. See below are the links to my other videos on the BR 40cc and the Races:

Don’t rush the break in bro make sure you run some fuel threw it before you lean that bitch up and make it sing 🎶 at higher RPMS! Keep the mix Bartolone tells you to run . 28:1 and 26:1 is close almost the same and safe for the clearances on that engine that Chris set! Congratulations 🍾🎉🎈 and good luck 🍀 . You must upgrade the fuel system to hi flow set up from full force and a vent tube a must for this engine. Your an Amazing singer and guitar 🎸 player bro !

And yes you are right i won’t rush the break in.. i was not able to get out again today but tomorrow i will continue the break in process. This new engine sounds awesome with the pipe. They did a really good job on this one. It was going to be this engine or rcmaxx. There are of course big differences in power between the styles. I went with the anodized grey engine 65cc and it will be here soon. The box with the kraken vekta 5 kit was delivered yesterday. Heavy box 15kg😄. Me being in the Netherlands makes it easier to buy from England. These engines sounds never get old, i love them all from 23cc and up. Keep the videos coming 😀🇳🇱

WHAT PLATFORM DO U LIKE BETTER THE LOSI 5IVE T OR THE KRAKEN VETKA5? DOES THIS MOTOR FIT IN THE VETKA?
I like the Losi platform way better. I’ve always been a fan of it. The BR40 engine does fit in the Vekta but small mods need to be made

yeah I’m still not done breaking it in of course. I’m doing some of this off camera. Hopefully soon I’ll have a full brapp video on it. I love the sound of it in person. It almost sounds like a dirt bike. Thanks for watching and stay tuned.
I would strongly suggest adding an air filter :P With bad luck some wind carrying some dust might ruin your engine.

@@SmithRCStudios On rewatch i realised it Is a filter not just enormous velocity stack but an aut filter. Guys running alx often use something symilar looking then connect a tube with filter to it.
Ev0ltion haha yeah 😊 it’s the Bartolone filter gets made specifically for that huge velocity stack. I like it but I’m looking at options so it can fit with body on since that BR40 and stack is huge as hell! Lol cheers dude

DDM Racing has these BR40 engines for $1600 i believe. But they only carry black ones. The ones that are anodized a special color have to be requested directly to Chris Bartolone.
