I didn't fancy buying a Wl toys version..... faster but with cheap parts etc.....from China with no after care.....
Hpi make great cars.....these are much better quality.....radio.....receiver......parts.etc..
And available in my local rc shops.

Have one of these the brushed motor died ten minutes of running it on a 3s lipo now have brushless motor also have Road tyres as killed original wheels to have changed the shocks to aluminium oil filed lined everything up buggy now flys it's so quick handles really well and sticks to the road fantastic buggy
Do you mean that the motor broke down? I had an ftx comet for Christmas and in the third run it broke to. I sent it back to the shop to be fixed and it broke yesterday( the motor)
@@sotiriospapastergiopoulos8582 yep motor failed big time I swapped it out for a brushless motor and esc it flies now with that different shocks and road wheels different buggy now it handles very well

@@sotiriospapastergiopoulos8582 the buggy is great the motor is cheap but swap motor and esc you will have hours of fun with it upgrade the shocks to oil ones it's fantastic it handles everything I throw at it and keeps going

Great looking buggy. How would you compare Maverick to Force RC in terms of what you get for your money? These new value brands from Horizon and Amain (that aren't China based such as Gearbest or Banggood) seem very attractive to newcomers and budget-minded customers with the added bonus of good customer support. RedBeard RC I’ll be driving it later today, but the parts quality seems better on the Maverick. I’m the future there will be a full comparison video.

Would this be Gould as a beginning car for a 14 year old?
I would say no. It’s not very durable and there’s currently no parts support. Also it’s 4wd which adds some complexity. Honestly I’d recommend a 1/10 scale 2wd vehicle from ECX, Traxxas, or Arrma instead.
