Damn, V pretty much loses every one of his friends and turns into an NPC.
I was really sad at this ending. Even the suicide ending didn't make me this sad. The ending of going with Judy and the Nomads is still a better ending. I vowed not to do this ending again. We were not people who deserved this treatment.
I mean. This is happy ending for V. Got what he/she wanted. This tells more about those other people than him/her. V actually has a chance at new beginning.
If the new beginning is Judy getting married and Panam not caring about us, I don't want such a beginning. It would be better if I lived with Johnny. We live with Johnny in good and bad times. We are already used to it. I wouldn't want such a life.@@Dak1624

@@eNv3n0mX Every ending has some flavour in it. For me really 2 endings are the most powerful. Don't Fear the reaper and Phantom Liberty ending. Both completely opposite and completely in line what Dex told at the start of the game ""Would you rather live in peace as Mr. Nobody, or go down for all times in a blaze of glory?"".

and yeah they can't do what they love now, plus night city is a dangerous place so V could literally get shot around the block, a damn sad ending...
this actually hurts a lot, for me the Aldecado's ending is the canon
The ending with Panem is still the best ending in Cyberpunk 2077
It certainly the happy ending, but the cannon one is the don't fear the reaper.

Why in Silverhand’s name did a fictional ’I’ve moved on’ talk make me cry?
As heartbreaking as this is for us the player and V it makes sense for Judy. When Judy looks up and says " finally decided that you'd ping me IF you could" it makes me believe Judy eventually vame to believe V was dead. The reason V didn't contact her was because V couldn't contact her. Her biggest fear was Night City destroying the people she held close to her. But because of V she was willing to abandon her plan to leave NC just to stay with V. Her comment about V pinging her and the fact she actually left NC bolsters my belief she thought V was never coming back and not that she just left.
In the next game we need new Judy, better Judy :D because this one left us :D shame on you CD Project!

Reed tells you to let people know you're going away for a couple weeks, but anything beyond that is confidential. Nobody expected the coma to happen, and if V mentioned the NUSA at all the deal would have been off immediately.
Or at least leave a message with Rouge. Like “hey going with the government, they might backstab me so give this to my friends and lover in case I don’t come back.”

This is so out of character for her and the other characters. You’re telling me she went looking for Evelyn but not V? Would Panam really stay mad at V forever even though they’re family now? No I don't think so. Not in this circumstance. During the conversation when Judy looks up and says "finally decided you'd ping me IF you could" I believe at that moment she reached a point where she believed V was dead. It implies she was holding out some hope you were actually still able to contact her and the only reason V didn't was because V couldn't. Remember she completely abandons her decision to leave NC because she wanted to be with V. She leaves because she most likely finally convinced herself there was no V coming back to her. It's no secret one of Judy's fears was Night City eventually destroying the good around her. And with no exact location of where the surgery would be and Reed/NUSA not keeping those close to V updated it makes sense Judy would have believed the worst for V.

As sad as this ending was, it puts a hard reset on V's life where it could carry on into the sequel. Maybe not as a main character, but as side character to the main story. No extra baggage or connections as those were severed in this ending. Only burdened by the fact V can no longer use combat implants, it leaves the narrative relatively opened to whomever he/she was (lifepaths and specced attributes) in a prior life.
Judy ending is either lazy writing or feels very forced. Considering that when Evelyn Parker went missing, Judy would go to the ends of the earth looking for her through the help of fixers and mercs alike. Yet, V goes dark and Judy be like "well fuck that."

I feel happy for Judy on this path. In Night City she could never be happy, but now she's out of it and got married. Good for her.
