Trains at Coventry. WCML. 04/01/2024.

A fantastic way to kick off 2024 with an absolutely phenomenal 2 hour stay here at the always good station of Coventry on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Avanti West Coast, Cross Country, London Northwestern Railway, West Midlands Railway and Freight from Colas Rail, DB Cargo UK, DRS, Freightliner and Network Rail.
Out of all my visits to Coventry, I think today was definitely my favourite. Everything that I expected to turn up did plus a few gems. The 37/57 combo was absolutely fantastic, the Network Rail HST was phenomenal. It was nice to catch 323 212 one last time in his West Midlands Railway colours before his transfer to Northern. An absolutely fantastic station to film at and one I highly recommend.
My next station will be Birmingham Moor Street on the Chiltern Mainline where we should see plenty of services from Chiltern Railways and West Midlands Railway. Because of where I stand, we can also see the West Coast Mainline going in and out of Birmingham New Street so we will see additional services from Avanti West Coast, Cross Country, London Northwestern Railway and Transport for Wales.

Actually the front power was bought by LNEr from EmR and used to be named Derby ecthes park and 43357 used be named HMS Penzance

Try filming at Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway as they are both my favourite train stations
