I don't comment often, but I wanted to thank you. I just got out of a stint in a mental hospital. Sometimes life feels so big and scary and like there isn't a home for you no matter where you go. Going through your renovations has given me lots of hope, like even if there are hard times, just like the storm in your garden, there is a place for you if you work hard enough to cultivate it. I've always wanted a home of my own, to stop moving so much, especially when I was young. I felt - for the first time in a while - like it's possible. Thank you. I hope this place becomes what you've always longed for, and that your garden never withers.

Vor solchen Arbeiten darf man sich nicht fürchten! Wenn man mit Spaß daran geht ist es ein leichtes und man mit Werkzeugen und anderem technischem Gerät umgehen kann, und diese auch zur Verfügung hat. Ich denke, die junge Frau hat einen Bautechnischen Beruf oder Landschaftsgärtnerin.👍
Your camera set up for the walk way was incredible. I am a tool guy with 11 years of accumulating every tool imaginable. New project, new tool. You seem to have the top of the line of never ending equipment. What is your background? Have you done landscape architecture? Much of your garden design just did not happen over night. There is clearly many many hours that you have put in. Really incredible results. The cottage seems bigger than you show. I have not seen your running water situation, except outside. It looks like you are less remote than I thought initially. Though close to some beautiful countryside. Certainly close to a source of building supplies too. You have gone to considerable labor and expense to create this beautiful place. It’s really nice.
Where have you acquired all this knowledge of tools? Plumbing? Pouring concrete? Do you own all of them? How? What? When? Where? How do you have the time to create and care for it all? The energy? How long did this take? So many questions. AMAZING!

I do have a question, where is your water supply and bathroom or do you have a well as my grandmother and outhouse.My grandmother also used barrels of rain water for the garden as well as to flush the toilet when her well ran dry in the summertime 🇺🇸🏠

I have a million questions, but I will just want to ask three. 1. Where did you learn to do all the things you do? 2. How long did it take you to do all the things you’re showing us in this video? …and 3. Which region in Romania? The landscape is a blessing in itself. Cannot wait for more videos. What more could you possibly surprise us with? I was thinking that the path you created with all those rocks looks so much like this path I saved on my Pinterest board. Unlike others, you don’t just find inspiration, which I am sure you look for, you actually get your hands dirty and make things happen. Congratulations on growing this channel so quickly. It’s truly amazing, and makes me proud to also be Romanian. You’re a true testament to the incredible creativity and craftsmanship that Romanians posses. Wish we were not so underrated.

I learned from my family and friends. As you said, our local people have always done things by themselves and they are very skilled people, so we can always learn from our grandparents, our parents and our skilled friends or neighbors. @@minarosered6699 when asking for the region of the country you’re basically asking for the state. If I told you I live in California you wouldn’t necessarily be able to find me just by coming to California. Romania has many regions that have their unique landscape and traditions. In the past you could tell where every one was from simply by looking at their style of clothing, and I’m referring to traditional folk garments which were adorned and cut in a different way from region to region. The same with the houses and the way houses were built and decorated. Johanna’s house is filled with all sorts of things she probably collected not only from across Romania but from other countries as well. If I’m wrong I’m sure Johanna can clarify it further. It would be amazing if she could feature more of the traditional Romanian crafts and cooking. Anyone who’s visited Romania can attest to the fact that the food is incredibly delicious. I love when I see her foraging for plants and ingredients in the forest. Romanians have done that since the beginning of time. My mom always picked wild garlic and “urzici” whenever we went out into the countryside. Not to mention chamomile flowers and linden flowers and mint for making teas. Cannot wait to see Johanna make some good old fashioned jams and jellies. Johanna needs a BBQ for sure, especially since “zacusca” is a staple in the Romanian kitchen and all vegetables need to be roasted. Right Johanna?
@@clc3897 that clarifies your question. Here, asking about a region is identifiable but the state, no, I'm from Texas you're not likely to find me from that info only. But if I said I was from the coastal area, well it's Texas you probably still wouldn't find me cuz we are absolutely huge!!😄

Beautiful work, amazing skills and such a quaint cottage. You remind me of my younger self as I have also used these skills in my own home and garden. I love the blue stones, where are they from, where is your cottage located? One last little hint from these old hands...when you transplant your plants from their containers please "tease" the roots loose before potting them. They will thrive much better! Much love!!!
