- I visit my friend Ninnie Edheimer's garden in the south of Sweden and take a long walk through her beautiful cottage garden. The thing I love most about the cottage garden concept is the colorful mix of edible and ornamental plants, and how it all seems to fit together in a relaxed and natural way. It's such a cozy and beautiful space. I hope you enjoy the video!

@@TheWindyBurrow What I love about her garden is that, no matter how humble yours is, you can find ideas for your own lovely garden. For example: I don't want to fuss with a pond, but I think I will have a bowl low to the ground with water and float flowers in it.
It's one year later. I just found this video. I've watched hundreds of garden videos. This is truly the most peaceful and beautiful of all! I loved your intro as well. It was sweet and heartfelt. I believe it was a true expression of how many of us feel about plants and flowers and beautiful things that the Lord has made.

After a long day with 4 children who argued and cried and fighted and got cuddled and read to and who I held in my arms they finaly went to bed. And I, as their very tired mother, just longed for some chocolate, reed wine, a hot water bottle and a blanket on the sofa watched this absolutely amazing video of the most beautiful garden ever. thank you so much for the slowness, the music, the few words and this most wonderful garden. This is a video to come back to and a garden to get inspirations from. What gift it must be to actually spand your life there.

Hi Ninni.....I have been there in your garden....the smell of the green grass the flowers and the beautiful sight of all the beautiful corners with it's own charm made me wonder if this is heaven....Never in my life I have experienced such a beautiful enchanted garden...tastefully designed with the peace and quiet atmosphere that made me feel that you have a heart as big as your garden...your mind and eyes together the truest beholder of such an accomplishment..words cannot explain what my eyes experienced....thank you....I wish I were there unseen.. just me and there.....your country garden. Absolutely beautiful. Now I know why Ninnie has so many darling chairs and benches sitting around. She created a piece of heaven and all the chairs are for all of us to come and sit and enjoy her creation. We may not be there physically but we "seat ourselves" in her chairs spiritually. The most beautiful, enchanting cottage garden I have ever seen
Oh, how I fell in love with this garden. It almost made me cry. I have been trying and trying to find garden tours online, but so many of them, like Goldilock's porridge, were just "not right." This is so peaceful and composed so artfully without being grandiose and "show-offy", if I may coin a phrase. I am sure we can all find lovely tips from this garden.

Having had gardens of my own which were considerably smaller than this, I cannot imagine that she does it alone... that or she is superhuman but wow what a superbly designed and tended garden. What a beautiful inspiration. I am trying to plan a garden throughout my blank slate of a yard around the 122 yr old house I just purchased last yr. I love the way you have used color throughout your garden on benches, beds, buildings, then echo it in flowers. I love the way the paths are set up that lead first your eyes, then make you want to walk through them.
