I am Brazilian and have never been to Argentina, but taking it from this video it looks like our neighbors have a lot more in common with us than I had imagined.
Almost same in those things, except for late dinner, influence from Italy/Spain. In Spain is even later than Argentina (around 22h).

Bit of a racist thread there, but well, Argentinians are Latino because they're in, yes, Latin America. Despite this, it's the whitest country in the world with 97% of the population identifying as white, mostly from Italian, German and Spanish descent. Wherein macho culture is a very Latin American thing (unfortunately), the aggressive cat-calling and general loudness is probably more common in Argentina due to the huge Italian influence, and if you're wondering it's the same thing in Italy, especially in the south.

I am American of Italian background on my mom's side. A number of years ago, I took a vacation in Argentina. I was told by many here in the US, that though I could not speak spanish, my knowing italian would make things ok. WELL WRONG that was. The only people who actually understood and spoke italian were 50 yrs of age and older. Most, if not nearly all, younger people looked at me in confusion. So whenever I needed advice, I always looked for older people only, and that was my salvation. YES, 100%, the cadence leans more on the italian side, and more so if spoken by the older generation...at least I found that. Also, from a grammar standpoint, there are even more "italianisms" in Chilean spanish than others. The part the really hit home was when Peter got in the cab. It was EXACTLY the same thing, no exaggeration, for me when I landed in BA. The driver was 120% on point as the driver in this video, I just pretended not to understand anything. Al fin, ti amo argentina...m' avete toccato il mio cuore.

@@rodayodryve7998 Having Italian accent doesn't mean we understand Italian. Written Italian I can understand but not when they talk. We have borrowed words from Italian but that's it. And many Italians didn't teach their children because they were trying to integrate. My grandparents were Italian but they came when they were very young and didn't teach my mum any Italian. I have Italian citizenship and I don't speak any Italian. You'll have a better chance finding younger people who speak English than Italian.

I lived in Argentina for almost 6 months, omg, this is so accurate. I'm from Mexico, and I even got a cultural shock with the super late dinner and people being super slow, and the credit even for the supermarket, oh, and the soccer, that was impressive, people go crazy, literally. But loved my stay and the country, really fun and pretty country to visit!

Accenting words is common in handwritten language and on the cell phone keyboard (since these bring spell checking) but on the PC keyboard many people don't even know where the key to accentuate words is ... And maybe ther think that the accent was `` and not not this one ´´

El propósito de este canal es generar contenido humorístico y realmente es una lastima que haya personas que por sentimientos nacionalistas o patriotismo puro no puedan entenderlo como un chiste (que es lo que es). Al final del video, vuelvo a repetir que pasé los mejores 4 meses de mi vida en Argentina y que me enamore del país. Pienso que hablar de cosas positivas y de que hermoso es todo no lo haría gracioso.

lo único que no entiendo es lo de tu apellido que tiene un acento. O sea acá en Argentina, mas bien en el idioma castellano el acento gráfico o tilde es muy común, es más, casi todos los apellidos españoles (que son muy repetidos acá) llevan tilde, ej: Sánchez, Fernández, González, García, etc.

Being someone who has lived for 7 years in Argentina it was extra fun to to recall all these minor nuisances of Argentine society that makes you go crazy on a daily basis. Public workers are soo incredibly slow and never use their brains given the task at hand. Try going to a public hospital for a simple x-ray. You will spend most of morning queuing (think 2AM in the morning for a 10 AM 10 min session) and you are only attended if their "numbers" in your area of need haven't run out when they eventually open the doors at 8AM.
Not to mention how incredibly difficult it is to do anything that requires "official" approval.
Having said that, Argentina is a fun mix of first and third world scenarios. Some things work incredibly well and hold high quality (food and football passion to name two) while others are on level with the worst African states (public service or corruption in politics fx)

Ak sa chces rozrast mal by si davat aj nazov po anglicky :) aspon v zatvorkach
píšem to asi 2165x, názov videa sa väčšine Slovákov ukáže po slovensky a ostatným po anglicky, mám to tak automaticky nastavené :)
+PPPeter písal som aj koment ale podľa mňa by si to mal dať všade po anglicky, aj na slovensku :)
Peťo to už spomínal viac krát, že ten nadpis sa ti automaticky prekladá podľa toho, odkiaľ video pozeráš. :) Takže neboj, v zahraničí to majú anglicky.

As an argentinean person, you got me really mad in some parts but i couldn't help laughing out loud throughout the whole video. I can tell you tried to fake the argentinian accent but why would you play mexican songs all the time? Anyways, great video. Keep it up.
I had exactly same feelings when watching a video about Slovakia (as a slovak) :D .. He has a really provocative sense of humour, but once you realize he desn´t mean it in a bad way, one can really enjoy it :)
