Damn, how I love those turquoise / light blue liveries of Leyton House and March. Also the F1 cars from the beginning of the 90's were the best looking cars by chassis! Good times, good times... :D
The '91 car was an absolute beaut! I would say it, along with the Benetton B190 and the 7up Jordan, were the most beautiful F1 cars ever. The livery and the chassis design are just impeccable.
I always thought their mid 70s cars looked like vacuum cleaners. Must’ve been an interesting attempt to generate consistent vacuum beneath the front! Lol
Never clicked so fast on a video. Great stuff as usual, I think I've already done some requests in the past but I'll do them again here: - Hesketh - Forti - British American Racing - Force India Cheers!
Found this video in my suggestions, love the channel! The CG891 and 901 are some of the best-looking F1 cars ever made, and that's in an era which produced some truly stunning designs (think early Ferrari 640, Jordan 191).
F1 Livery Histories the history if different engine manufacturers or maybe how each manufacturers engines varied in a certain era eg Mercedes split turbo and Ferraris unique batteries in the current regs
i used to cut the vinyl graphics for leyton house during the 88 and 89 season, the enrico coveri logos were particulary tricky to weed! i once spent a whole day cutting the decals for the helmet visors but forgot to adjust the weight on the vinyl cutter so it all went to waste, myboss was far from impressed, lol
I love your vids and have seen every one. As a constructive critique, While going through the years as a mediocre constructor in F1, I would've made mention of the parallel of it's successful chassis in other formula, particularly CART/IndyCar. Regardless, I cannot wait until you have new vids out - thank you!
Thanks mate, you're definitely one of my longtime supporters. And yes, some mention of March's exploits in CART/IndyCar would have been a good addition. Guess I just didn't think of it at the time.

@@Fmontes Thanks mate. Some stills of some rare 80's teams could be really useful. I'd be happy to credit you in the video descriptions too. My email is f1liveryhistories@gmail.com

Couldn't agree more.
These really are just a joy to watch

March also built a TON of CART Indy car chassis and had major success in that series with a variety of teams.
Maybe the March 881 was one of the most beautiful cars in F1-History ever. A masterpiece by Adrian Newey and an aerodynamic milestone.
suggestions:
-British American Racing(BAR)
-McLaren
-Force India
-Ferrari
Oh and Osella too
It'll be nicer if you upload this in March
Haha
That LH-March 881 was the prettiest car of it's era. I came to F1 fandom in the very early 70s, and the 72 STP car was one of my favorites.
i keep coming back to your videos, its so calming and educational. i wish i had a platform to share them with more than just friends!
That's really nice of you to say. So awesome to hear that you enjoy them & have shared the love :-)
So nice and educational video footage, behind the curtain !!!

Fantastic channel!
Im half way through reading Adrian Neweys book, so was great to see the Layton house livery

The most beautiful F1 car ever built: the Leyton House March.
The Jaegermeister and Lavazza liveries are beautiful

@@f1liveryhistories290 Will do!
That first March car can be seen in Tyrrell blue at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, as driven by Sir Jackie Stewart.
I worked for Leyton House Racing with March in Bicester.,oxon
It really is a joy to watch these videos.
7.28 that car is absolutely sick!
YOU HAVE GOT TO LOVE THIS TEAM , REALLY HOPE TO SEE THEM RETURN ONE DAY .
How about videos about different aspects of F1, after you finish with the liveries? You really do have an enjoyable style.
Thank you. What other aspects of F1 do you think would be good?

Didn't knew this team, very interesting!
Such Beautiful cars!
Excellent, was wondering when March was going to feature. Monaco Fine Arts Gallery! Amazing. Ivan Cappelli (senza capelli) still going strong.
Fantastic video as always, you ever thought about doing something like that history of driver helmet designs??
Cheers mate. I can't say I've ever thought about drivers' helmets!
I have a Leyton House jacket that I found in a loft. Not the best of condition, but can’t be many about.
Didn't expect Cypress Hill on an F1 video tbh
Very nice videos. Great job!!!
Cheers!
Back with another video, and the smooth beats.😎
Really enjoy this series. It's channels like this that has inspired me to make my own (the quality will be rubbish compared to this though)

Most beatiful car ever coulour blue so good
Great video and I remember those Judd engines sounded just awful compared to Ferrari's V12.
Love the 1987 belgian gp car. Livery is pretty and car looks bad ass.
Yes! that 1987 car is sick..
I'm watching this in honor of it being March
I would say do Ferrari but that might have like a 3 part history thing
@2:05 Look what's left of that car.
Good spot. A frightening looking accident..
Congratiolatios from video
Familiar to Japan
I thought March also raced in 83 ?
By that time RAM had zero affiliation with March.

When is McLaren coming ??
Do Ferrari or McLaren
Do force india
