- First time lapping at HPR as well as my first time running Hoosier slicks!
This is from my 2nd of 3 sessions in the "slow" group as I didn't record my 1st session. This track is absolutely tremendous and I will definitely have to make more trips this season.
Fastest lap came at the end with a solid 2:10.983 benchmark for next time out.

I'm the guy in the golf wagon. Thanks for posting, fun to watch!
Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!
Love watching the fiesta pass up every car out there
Thanks mate! Sure makes me enjoy the Fiesta all the more on days like that.
Nice over take on the camaro lol I wanna see 112+ on that straight away now lol awesome video!👌
1:40 when you dont listen to Phil in dirt
As soon as we got to the top of that hill I was thinking "well he's braver than me here" and then off he went.
@@lucasurban1031 He probably knocked a couple of fillings out of his teeth when he hit the cutoff.
I want to do a HPDE event here next summer. I've never been on a track. I bought a 2020 mustang pp1. Any tips for myself and / or the car before I try this?
Even if you don't align with your instructor, personality-wise, make sure you listen to the knowledge they're dishing out. Figure out your head-space and learn to be comfortable at speed first. Don't even think about the car performance yet. Seat time is extremely beneficial in early stages - don't feel pressure to go fast yet - you'll reinforce bad habits. Slow it down if you're struggling to keep up mentally. Listen and be friendly.
@@OhCrapItsJimmy excellent advice. I'd probably be the slowest guy on the track when I first start that way I can become comfortable with good habits and then become the fastest guy on the track someday
Was that Daytona Coupe a kit or the genuine article?
My fear at this track is doing exactly what that 86 did in your first lap lol. There are several blind corners and some are more surprising than others.
You have to use the braking markers.
I thought the slow group had to do point by passing
Slow group doesn’t necessarily mean slow and inexperienced drivers.
