The Triple Score & Xterra Elite have created some real buzz of capability at their price points. I’m sure many are interested in this test, thanks for putting it together for us all to watch...
Best 2 detectors on the market for new users and vet swingers the beta testers for the vortex refuse to show the Vortex side by side with the xterra or the triple score.
How could anyone not be impressed with the Elite & Triple? Both preform very well in test. I just wonder how much better can a detector get? Are we almost at their peak performance? Of course they can make them lighter weight, more waterproof , have different color options, more ergonomic, more customizable, more option etc…., but at some point there has to be a limit as to where they can only perform as good as the next best detector. I could possibly see where your phone will be your main control panel & could do everything you need to adjust via phone. It could track your every step & target then go back & see the spots you missed & what spots you found your good finds etc…. Yes, I know Minelab has something similar, but I see it being much more productive than their current app. I honestly think your phone will be your main engine remote in the not too far future. Like within 5 years.

We get so caught up in depth... its really about seperation. Who wants to dig holes all day at 12 inches lol. Most your good stuff is 4-8. All these new machines do just fine.
I do have to agree with this. Of course we want the most depth, but SEPARATION is where it’s at. I’ve found more silver includes a Morgan dollar & a Seated Quarter with the small 6” coil on my Legend. Depth don’t matter if you can’t get through the iron & trash.

Got a xterra elite today. Spent some time in the garden, alongside the manticore before work. Happy with how the xte did. All settings set equal, Beach 1 seemed to be the mode king for here. It fell off just on the deepest coins, 10-12” merc and 12” buffs gave very intermittent hits. Everything to 10” was easy money. Pleased for the price, wanted a back-up unit to have handy or for a loaner.
@@calabashdiggeradventures Way more stable and deeper id’s than the regular xterra pro gave, but seen quite a bit of higher silver range numbers on deep indians and wheats. Curious to see if others get similar results. Seems pretty capable still.
I just got my Xterra Elite today as a backup for my Equinox. Im not so sure with how it performs you can actually rate it a backup. Yes, it has less options but if you don't use them does it matter? 🤔
I was looking on amazon uk and found minelab x terra voyager metal detector comes with all accessories £149. And display looks like new garrett vortex 😮
Great to see have you tried the killer B’s for the minelabs? They not waterproof which is a bummer but they sound great I hear. What version are you using on D2? Thanks
Yeah the deus 2 has never been great at ID amongst iron ringing up a 8-9, where the tid lingers on the iron…Now when I was talking to xp they did say they had rectified this when they rectified fulltones with the offset hmmm
If you can see if they will hit when you take the Pewter out of the Test and then it will be only the Same Nails of your test of the Triple and the Elite ???
The elite is an awesome machine eventually going to pick one up, but I think first I am picking up the Triple Score as Nokta is killing it with their customer care team and the interaction from the top brass taking the time to crawl out of bed at 2 am on vacation to spend a few minutes with us in a live feed.
@scottscottydog I have both the 900 and Manticore and as Calabash mentioned in the video about the Manticore, they are both a big step up in regards to EMI. Still learning the Manticore, but 900 improved amount of finds over 800, five X.

Honestly the configuration had on it is the best unmasking program for pewter buttons I have seen... All you can do is remove the filters....Some like to say sen full tones unmask better but I have not found it to be any better than fast when set up apples to apples..

I should have showed that on camera...None of the detectors were falsing on the nails..
I bought the Elite for a backup for my Deus 11, after seeing these test, it may be the other way around.

My Manticore hits on a lot of nails making them sound good. AT general, no other settings
How do you find your manticore spectra, thinking of upgrading from the 800.
Old nails in the ground have a rust halo effect, all detectors are fooled a lot of times
