There were emulator leaks years ago suggesting that NSO was prepped for the GBC Pokemon games
Almost every single main line mario game is on switch except new super mario bros ds,wii,2 and super mario galaxy 2 and 3d land also super mario land 2 is already on nso!
If you wouldn’t mind updating the thumbnail and the description to reflect the leaks for Pokémon.
That would mean that pokemon now has three generations that are 4 years long. Gen 3 from 2002-2006, gen 4 from 2006-2010, and now gen 9 from 2022-2026. If gen 10 is in 2026 at the 30th anniversary that is. Which is probably going to be just as big as the 20th anniversary back in 2016. And as well as pokemon horizons being 3 years long as well since it is the gen 9 anime. That’s if legends z-a is late 2025 next year.
And as well as two years without a pokemon game which is a first. No generation, no third version, no remake, and no dlc. I wonder what spin off game will we get if there is one in development. I don’t know how big tcg pokect is going to be. I did think that gen 10 would be at the 30th anniversary just like sun and moon, gen 7 was in 2016 for the 20th anniversary. That would also mean that gen 9 will be over in two years from now as well.
Hopefully we can get a Pokémon movie before Gen 9 ends but I wouldn’t hold my breath since it’s been a few years since the last one in 2020. It would be movie 23 or 24. As I do enjoy the Pokémon movies, anime, mainline games, some spin off games, some of the tcg, and the merchandise. Which would also mean that a remake for Pokemon would probably be in either gen 10 or 11. Since that would be the time to do one if they decide to do an another remake. Gen 10 was going to be either in 2025 or 2026 not 2027 or 2028.
Since Pokémon generations are 3 to 4 years long. The latest gen 10 would be was 2026. Gen 10’s dlc would be in 2027. Every generation has mainline games, spin off games, movies, tcg, sometimes a manga, anime, merchandise, and much more that comes with every Pokémon generation. Gen 10 bring in 2026 depended on two things for me anyway. One when legends z-a was coming out in 2026 and if there was a game in 2024 or not.
I probably got one of my answers to those questions for gen 10 and 2026. Only time will tell but it probably is true more than likely. My bad for the long comment as I tend to think on a lot of things regarding Pokémon since I’ve been a fan of Pokemon since 2000 when I was 3 years old with the first season of the Pokemon anime, 24 years ago for me.

I imagine a Prime News segment where we check in with a PokeTuber the way mainstream news does with sports or the weather. To get a short, sweet, well informed segment. 👍🏻

The first teaser trailer for the next main line pokemon games said 'for the nintendo switch family of systems' which may be a hint as to the next console being named switch 2 that we all missed at the time.

@barrywade3774 nope all poke were useable in 5. Only gen 5 pokes were watchable until post game but you could trade any mon in at any time
You seriously think nintendo cares about the pokemon franchize? they clearly care less about pokemon than they do their other ips like mario and zelda. But I will admit that they care about pokemon more than metroid prime 4.
Technically it would be the Pokémon company and gamefreak not Nintendo that would be in charge of Pokemon and everything related with Pokemon such as movies, tcg, mainline games, spin off games, manga, anime, and much more. Nintendo just publish the games that’s it. Metroid prime 4, Zelda, Mario, and then other IPs are a different story for Nintendo that isn’t Pokémon.
How may Pokémon games are on non Nintendo consoles, though? I'm waiting.
