My absolute favourite characters. Shame the audience didnt get it. They must have a disorder and this and that, isn't it. 😁
Isn't it though?
Random, blood
😉
I’ve got a note to let me off listening to this cruel shit blood, isn’t it?
Isn’t it
Or sum shit
"I never done French. I done Media Studies."
Class.
And now, thanks to Bliar & his cohorts, we have a whole generation of 'em.
Media studies was around long before Blair
@@goodwifelucy5602 I think you’ll find that it’s actually spelt Meeja Studdiez 🧐
@@goodwifelucy5602 yup but you didn’t get a GCSE, A level or degree in it. We did social studies and social education. It wasn’t considered worthy of a qualification.
All the comments about the crowd seams to be from people who don't understand;
1. Sound mixing. They're not on max volume like in a sitcom.
2. How crowds work. They're laughing a lot, but silence quickly, politely, as it's a fancy event.
Miller and Armstrong did not bomb here. And it's a great skit :P
It's also a theater not a studio, sound stage is totally different and all that innit
And even then, you can still hear lots of laughing throughout. So strange people commenting like they weren't.
Its brilliantly funny
Seems*
This deserved so many more laughs from the audience
ain't it
The topic may have been taboo even then. Still, they got some laughs and hoots. Nowadays, they’d probably be banned and I truly can’t see the King accepting it.
Need to have Ricky Gervais to introduce them so he can tell the audience they stupid if they don't get it?
They need to do this again and again. Will never get enough of it
“It’s like racism but against soil” love it!
"Is owls moo or is owls woof" hahaha I lose brain cells from laughing every time I watch these two XD
"Just because I did it they blamed me." Sounds like Boris after the Committee report.
These A&M sketches remind me of this one time I was on the bus behind 2 girls who talked all chav like that, and one of them was complaining that she hated her English teacher and she was going to complain about him to the headteacher. The other girl asked her why, and she replied "Cuz ee said I was FICK!" - They both turned around and glared at me when I burst out laughing.
This was by farthe best performance of the night. Had me in stitches lol.
Brilliantly observed - totally unappreciated
They only did three series of "The Armstrong and Miller Show". They should do more. These two are excellent. My favourite sketches of theirs are The Spring Cotillion - where they are dancing in a ballroom with high society ladies and exchanging lewd comments to their partners.
But for those who don't know, that's 3 series *with the BBC*. They have 4 series of 'Armstrong and Miller' previous from Channel Four days, in the late 90s.
I love these characters: so unique and brilliant.
"he said period
i know"
loved it
This is freaking BRILLIANT!!!!
"It's like racism but against soil" lol loved this sketch!
Talk about surreal! I have met and shook hands with *only* 2 actors in my lifetime so far...and they are Brendan Fraser and John Simm!!
This is still relevant. Scary but true. Superb sketch
Love Brendan Fraser such a legend!
who?
@@MrDaiseymay My response exactly!
I love him, too, he was so rare for a really handsome film star... Really happy to take the p*ss out of himself, never took his career seriously - but I don't know what is going on in his life, but he is looking so defeated by life - as though he is on a non violent suicide mission. Makes me so sad.
you don't know who brendan fraser is?
very under appreciated. top notch stuff.
'Just because i did it, they blame me.' Lol.
Armstrong & Miller got lots of laughs -- the audience wasn't miked up, were they, blood? I've even got a note for it!
wherever I see John Simm now I see the Master acting all like he's not a time lord and stuff ^^
"Bonjour mes amis!"
"Are you ill?"
Lmao.
Absolute brilliant
this is amazing,
love it
standard
i absolutely love armstrong and miller. miller looks like my bff's dad! LOL!
this is amazing and made me laugh so much :D i love armstrong and miller!
Hilarious! "they blame me, cos i dunnit." made me laugh quite a bit :D Plus, because I love him, John Simm is the cherry on the cake!
Though, I did feel a bit ashamed at one point: I took Media studies instead of French!
Everyone took media studies lol.
@@3ADWOLF Bliarites Rule. OK!
At least Mr Reynolds never touched your bollocks
i lovd this!!!!
Love it! 😂😂
Bravo, great comedy.

Wonderful
OMG I LOVE JOHN SIMM SO MUCH !!!
That was proper great and that
Keep expecting them to end with 'or some shit like that' but they obviously won't, it's frustrating
😂😂😂 i honestly don't know how they do this!!
Put on a posh accent, and then speak in slang all the way through!
It must be incredibly difficult to do!
Did the same in a play what we wrote in sixth form.
they are just soooo funny
haha
Omgs this is pure win, I love all three of these actors. :"D
"its like racism againts soil " LOL
Brilliant, init!

Yess ,, I Love Hiim Soooo Much :)
it's like racism but against soil
classic!
"blinged up, badly man" *grin*
As a retired RAF chap I see this as VERY GOOD banter what? Cabbage crates over the briny wizard prang Bertie!
If you are unsure of what is being said on screen, then do read the comments section, as most of the script is quoted verbatim, usually followed by 'LOL', to indicate the contributor has fully understood the comedic techniques employed by the writers of the original script that is clearly heard during the performance. Many contributors also use uppercase to further emphasise that they really have understood everything, and are very keen to make it known to the reader. Remember - the use of 'caps-lock' means 'My comment is really worth reading'. Please respect the time and effort that they have taken to reinforce their insecurities, and that they should be congratulated for their sharp observations and not ridiculed or labelled as a half wit, capable only of stating the bleeding obvious. Thank you. Please ENJOY.
Isn’t it though?

HARSH LOL
Just show a little kindness.
They are repeating the bits they loved best, or most moved us, just as we all do, when talking about the things we loved best, walking out of a theatre or cinema.
Except, we are alone in our experiences and can only communicate with strangers, who witnessed what we witnessed.
It actually indicates a base loneliness online.
As to caps, I know old people who have no idea there is an etiquette. If they accidently have phone on caps, they don't worry.
If people write in caps, fewer people bother to read. If someone is indicating that much stress, I feel happy I am pre warned, and often jump the post. I don't obsess about feeling superior and happily judgemental about people. If it doesn't look like it will be calm, I generally jump it.
Do you walk around pointing at Down's syndrome people, or emotionally unbalanced people?
They may be a bit unbalanced or agitated, but YOU ARE UNPLEASANTLY SMUG.
(Not an accident with caps lock. Just so you know)
Owls is cluck you div...
Went down like a lead balloon!
That's The Master from Doctor Who!!
Tidgy His name is John Simm don't define him by a character. Define by who he is. He's an enterially different character in this.
Harold Saxon.
It is indeed
Track down Life On Mars... the UK version, not the horrible US version...
You can't talk to him like that cause he's a Doctor Who fan and they're all autistic. And that's like racist but for autism.
The Queen would not have the faintest idea what they are saying r why its funny.
omg dis woz 2 funny even after watchin it lyk 10 times!!! lmfao
:) :) :)
It's well secret blood, no one exept me is supposed to see it.
Can i have a look?
Yeah.
>.
Oh, nobody got the Inkheart joke! Poor Brendan.
"We've been blown up."
Standard!
These characters are basically a WWII era bill and Ted. There, I said it. Basically two stoner youth inside of grown men’s bodies during the 2nd world war.
He's like the Master and Sam Tyler and like Jip and that main bloke in State of Play and Mad Dogs and shit though isn't it....standard.
@thesteveus
That's because it IS John Simm :)
I know! That's just what I was thinking. If I was there I would have literally been on the floor laughing.
This is even better:

Gawd, that Veruka is pretty nasty business, yeah!
no problem x
I don't think that audience understood a word - they mostly just laughed when they knew they were supposed to laugh

Well, it’s 2022 and he’s relevant again.
Back in 2023v

''Hes blinged up badly man'' !! ^.^
''Theys all against me and its for no reason 'cause i never done nothing and im not even lying...''
Ahh so funny! =' D
Obviously what Johnson watches nightly
Tough crowd...
To be honest, this sketch wasn't a good as the ones that went out in the show, although not having the laugh track might be to blame.
More like the posh audience don't know anyone who talks in this dialect.
Audience not gettin it. Innit
Standard
kromus1 clearly large section of the audience never seen A & M on the box, and think those two blokes on stage are taking the piss out of Vera Lynn and that stuff. Never do!
NPCs don't get insulting social commentary humour
It's called 'we'll meet again' Its an old 40's song by Vera Lynn.
Used to great effect at the very end of Dr. Strangelove.
Can't think of a nicer way to spend the evening although ********* runs it close? Any idea what he said? Armstrong & Miller - brilliant!
ha...
he said period.

Isn't the audio a little too early?
I already took this nationality în this one 14th portrayed by Ben Miller în an Anthony Ainleysque look like

"We'll Meet Again" - Vera Lynn
Been in France 12 years now, and I can report with disdain that sometimes they do that up a wall whilst eating long-bread at the same time and s##t! But life and let live and Vive la Whatever.
