The first time I heard Angelina sing this song I was at home alone the day after my wife of 54 years had passed... I just wanted to hear her sing one of my favorite Willie songs... I had no idea it was her rememberence for her Grandpa. Needless to say, I was in tears with Angelina as she finished this song. It was the first tears I cried after my wife's passing... For me, a special moment with a special angel. She'll always have a place in my heart.👣💕
Angelina sang this in remembrance of her grandfather's passing ! It's one of the most emotional performances she has done ! You can hear her sadness it's heartbreaking to see her so sad ! She's 12 years old here, she's such a happy person with a depth that many adults don't have. when i see her crying my heart breaks and i would like to hold her in my arms to tell her that everything will be fine, by the way she is now 17 years old and released her ep 6 days ago with 6 new songs which she all herself has written an absolute masterpiece all Grammy worthy
Adding to the info om my friends here, it was her paternal grandfather she lost the same year she lost her friend Amici and a aquaintance of her from the royal family in Norway. Both men ended their lives. The following year in November 2019 she lost her beloved japanese grandfather to the fiend we all fear. This young lady went through a lot of hardship and still keeps on with her help for others. Angelina Jordan has my upmost respect for all of this.
The view behind you, reminds me, how the coast in Spain looked before the droughts they are beaten with. Not enough water for their farmers, and the tourists want more water.
Last year during June and July 2022, during the heat, more than 300 people died in one week.

In this song the personality of Angelina comes out in a incredible manner for the overflowing emotion she manages to express by singing it in memory of her beloved grandfather who recently passed away. But even the moment she breaks down in tears is incredible, in pain she still wants to finish the song. And Ivan accompanied her on guitar with great respect. 😔❤

Very difficult for Angelina's angels to watch this video, for obvious reasons. 2018 was a very tough year for 12 year old Angelina. She sang this song as a tribute to her paternal grandfather who had just passed away. Angelina also did tributes to Avicii and Aretha Franklin. On the upside, she recorded many great songs with Ivan Mendez on guitar during 2018.
The fact that Angelina would even do this shortly after the death of her beloved Grandfather (picture on phone) shows you her character. Dressed in black and full on sadness in the song and the way she performed it...remarkable young lady to say the least. 12 years old, so pre teen on the verge of crying the whole time. Its to honor her beloved grandad who died. She started writing her origional MILLION MILES after this. She wrote a heartbreaking song. 😢
Actually this performance from 2018 was in honor of her paternal grandfather who had just passed away. Million Miles was written about her maternal grandfather who passed away I believe in late 2019. She recorded Million Miles in 2020.
@@pjg58x you forget she lost 2 grandfathers. Plus she knew two people who committed suicide. Avici she considered a friend. She might have been young but she was no stranger to heartache.
Mendocino is a nice place. long ago, before we all got married and had children, my buddies and I road-tripped across up and down California. Could not find any hotel during the week of July 4th, we decided to what the heck just sleep overnight on the beach. Great time.
