I think it different on what music profile people like.. I have airpods pro 2 and jabra elite 75t.. For me bass head i still love jabra profile.. A little bit dissapointed can't tweak airpods sound profile and the original eartips really hurt me after 2 hours 😂 wanna try xm5 but 3 earbuds too much for me.. And if they need ANC, transparency, and microphone quality should go for airpods
Agreed! different strokes for different folks with sound quality/profile haha. So I only recently figured out how to tweak the airpods pro sound profile on iPhone.. You go to Settings >> Accessibility >> Audio & Visual >> Headphone Accommodations For me, the custom tune up on there told me I prefer more 'bright' setting (which makes sense since that's what I prefer on the XM5) so that's what I have it set as and there's other subtle stuff you can adjust there too :)

@@DeathtotheAshes I knoww, and no I would stick by what I said even with the EQ adjustments on APP 2. Like other earbuds do sound better for music like the Sony WF-1000XM5 and others I'm sure. But ultimately, I prefer using the APP 2 for everything tbh like I said. The sound quality on any of the others is not soo good that I'm willing to trade off any of the many benefits afforded by the APP 2 in comparison. Not in the gym, not on the train, not walking around, not anywhere haha.. I go Air Pods Pro 2 in all circumstances. Glad to hear you're enjoying the adjusted sound profile though! I loved when I found it out so randomly watching like the 40th YT video about them.. crazy how lowkey hidden the feature is.
I’d have to agree app2 are fantastic edc buds. They are comfy, have the best transparency and sound natural and correct. They aren’t my best buds, but they are my go to. I prefer status between 3ANC and denon Perl pro for sound quality. AirPods are just easy and sound good enough, and a no brainer if you have an iPhone. I wish they had an eq function though….they could use a bit more treble extension and sometimes a bit more bass. The mids are spot on though.
i'm in the apple ecosystem. besides airpods pro 2's, i use jabra elite 10's, sony xm5's, pixel buds pro's & technics az60 m2's. out of all of them i mainly lean towards the elite 10's. they're comfortable, secure, sound good, have push buttons & battery life is great. i rarely use anc. i'm more of a transparency mode person for working outside & also at home with the wife & kiddies.
Got App2 but after testing 20+, Between 3ANC is best sound quality. XM5 are fine but to me 3ANC wins again. Features wise well 3 ANC doesn’t excel in any but are avail.

Even Technics AZ80 (second to AirPod pro in transparency mode) blows Sony out of the water, listen the Denon pro is like if Bose and B&O had a baby. @@seifbuys Gemini II is in another league but man $450 if hard to swallow the only weakness is the battery life of only 5 hours (4 in reality) compared to the Denon that I can easily get 7 1/2 hours with all the features on.

He said the Beoplay EX sound better to him and he places the Gemini II second 🤷 Don't think ima pull the trigger neither tbh, I don't listen to music merely enough to warrant carrying around a pair of buds that sound great but are inferior to AirPods Pro 2 in pretty much every other department. Especially not when they cost more and prob won't hold their value as well.. like with the current market offerings and buds I've tried, I would prob walk around with 2 airpods pro 2s before I do that actually. Also the more vids I watch and reviews I read, the more the concept of what sounds 'the best' seems subjective/open to interpretation so am happy I said what I said in the vid.. i.e. those on the hunt for the best sound quality gotta make a shortlist and try them all to see what they prefer

I disagree. AirPods Pro 2 are GOATED 🐐 currently and I stand by everything I say in the video. As everyday all rounded buds, I would choose them even if I didn't have an iPhone as I mention. The objective cons of 1) having comparatively inferior on board controls, 2) a lack of a broad range of ear tip options from third parties custom made for the specific earbuds, and 3) no reliable way of accurately finding the buds case and each bud individually make the AirPods Pro 2 my only recommendation for everyday buds that I would feel comfortable using in any situation: work, gym, calls, flight, etc... No need to confuse buyers with all the 'but this one sounds slightly better for music or noise cancelling or mic quality'. All highly subjective and variable attributes of an earbud that different people will have decidedly different opinions on. The AirPods Pro 2 sound good enough. Can they make them sound better and improve noise cancelling even more? sure and I hope they do, but stacked up against the current competition, I just don't see the objective argument for other earbuds, at least not until the companies solve the 3 cons I mentioned above ☝️. Also, I love the mic quality on APP2 and believe most reviewers out there agree. I've legit had long calls practically right bedside music speakers in cafes and people had no issues hearing me clearly.

The pinch control is not necessarily and really the best type of control, it's just a matter of taste, personally, I prefer the tap and swipe of the Google Pixel Buds Pro, Bose Qc earbuds, OnePlus Buds 3... As I said in my 1st comment, the Airpod Pro 2 are pretty good earbuds, but very far from being the gold standard. Ps: the microphones of the Airpod Pro 2 in phone calls in noisy environments are more than average, they are too far behind compared to the competition like Huawei Freebuds Pro 1/2 /3, OnePlus Buds 3, Soundcore Liberty 4/4NC, Earfun Air Pro 1/S, and others, even the Qcy Ht05 Melobuds which cost $20-$30 have better microphones than the Airpod Pro 2. 🙏🏽

All I can see is for me, the touch and swipe is markedly inferior as it is much more prone to unintended button presses and doesn't feel as tactile/natural as the swiping on the stem on the Airpods Pro 2s. That is my experience at least and that's what this video was, my opinion based on my, admittedly limited experience and research. I do enjoy dialogues like this in any case, that's why I started the channel. I like to talk about this stuff and see what else is out there. So thanks!
Just wanted to add, I walk around with a pixel 8 pro as well as an iPhone 15 pro max simply because I prefer the aesthetic quality of the pixel's photos right out the box. but I also know that on net it's considerably more expensive than the iPhone 15 pro max which I use daily for pretty much everything else. more expensive because I know I won't be able to resell it for anywhere near as much as the iPhone 15 pro max, and the benefits of it (android), while bountiful aren't enough to make up for how much more expensive an android is when I account for how much less it will resell for. This is just as someone who loves tech and likes upgrading every 1-2 yrs in North America. but I don't see myself walking around with 2 sets of earbuds everywhere. it's just too much/ I don't see the benefit of other earbuds being worth it for my use.
