    Thank you, Anna. These are very practical tips. I also appreciate your upbeat and positive delivery.
    I have only done one paint party. It was on Easter 2023. The participants were my family of my own children, spouses, and three grandsons. I provided 6 x 8 wood ovals (Easter eggs?) and a few dozen colors. I arranged them into three groups (4, 4, and 3). They did them in shifts. I taught them the bloom technique. The eggs were beautiful and everyone felt so accomplished.

      @@AnnaBlountArtyw (you’re welcome) oh if two layers pours won’t work for a paint party then use more for it to work until your satisfied and also you should post a video about the paint party that you did in early 2020 before COVID hit you really had a fun time there

    HI, what do you do at the end of the night with people taking their paintings home wet?

    • @AnnaBlountArt
      @AnnaBlountArt  Před 4 měsíci

      I always let the paintings sit for 2 days before people can pick them up.

      @@AnnaBlountArt I tried a chain pull butterfly yesterday! It’s “OK” I guess ( it was literally only my 3 rd painting ever! Lol). I’ve been watching your videos… have you done one like that I haven’t seen yet? I really enjoy your videos, style and personality! I’m trying a channel ( up to 11 subs, lol) but I find that I tend to talk too much…:/

    • @AnnaBlountArt
      @AnnaBlountArt  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@Terisemptycanvas I’ve done a chain pull butterfly once, but not on camera. I have coral reef chain pulls and flower bouquet chain/string pulls that you could watch!
      Out of curiosity, why start a CZcams channel without pouring experience? Is it a channel to document your growth, or one designed to instruct? I’m not trying to say you shouldn’t have one at this point, but I do know that my painting skill and instincts were much better after about 6 months of regular pouring, and I had been painting for over 2 years before I started my channel.
      There are a lot of components that go into making enjoyable videos, including lighting, sound, and editing, as well as personality, knowledge, and artistic ability. I know a CZcams channel seems like “the thing to do” and of course it is fun to share your art journey with others! But making a successful channel is a lot of work, so just bear that in mind 😊

      @@AnnaBlountArt thank you. I have a cooking channel, it’s doing pretty well! Unfortunately I broke my leg on a vacation, so not much cooking for me rn. I am aware of all the work and editing. I know a lot about cooking, meat processing, etc. this one is probably more about my journey, plus as a bonus, something to do and enjoying myself!
