YES, LIONBLAZE CONTENT! There’s hardly amvs/pmvs that shows his struggles with his power! He hated it and even feared it a little because of how impulsive and battle hungry it made him!
I’m so glad you like it! I try to do content on the side of characters that aren’t necessarily focused on, I have other videos like this that focus on the quiet parts of characters. I plan to make more content like this, it’s fun and it makes me (and hopefully) others see the sides to characters that aren’t typically shown!

I’m happy someone actually appreciates Lionblaze. He does have a personality and people just seem to refuse to acknowledge it. Jayfeather may be my favorite character but still like Lionblaze and I think he deserves more recognition.

My absolute favourite characters are Jayfeather and Ivypool, but Lionblaze is one of my favourite characters, though not one of my absolute favourites, I still love him!
I don't have a problem with people making a bit fun of him being conceited because it's just kind of an insider in the WarriorCats Fandom, but I'm always sad when I see people saying Lionblaze is a stupid, conceited, attention-seeking idiot.
I'm happy to know there are at least some people that appreciate his character as I do! 😊
Correct me if I'm wrong since I haven't read the power of three in years, but wasn't he also mentored by Ashfur? And wasn't Ashfur pretty cruel to him?

yessssss. i always found lionblaze’s whole story kind of horrifying, especially his relationship with heathertail. not the cross clan relationship but the fact he had dreams (may have been just one dream) about killing her. he really isn’t talked about enough, and im kind of disappointed that so many people ignore/forgot about his whole thing with heather, and just how horrifying his plot line is in general.
I FIRGOT ABOUT THE DREAMS
The reason he’s forgotten, despite having a pretty traumatic story compared to other characters is because the books never hung on it enough. They just didn’t reflect the toll it should’ve taken on his character, they just kind of wrote “this is what happened and we’re gonna move on now.” Lionblaze was supposed to be an emotional and rather lenient character to contrast with his powers, similarly to a way Jayfeather and Dovewing personalities contrast with theirs, but that just didn’t end up showing. When the books try to write him as this depressed, emotional himbo it still feels dull and empty, like he’s sad for all the wrong reasons.

@@manymomath5466I so agree with all of this! It also felt like they drowned his issues with his romance with Cinderheart and her struggles with the weird Cinderpelt thing. It started becoming “ im sad because she says we can’t be together “ and not because of his circumstances or traumatic experiences ( he was literally groomed by tigerstar too and everyone kinda forgets that )
Lionblazed deserved better tbh. Not saying the books failed his character, but the concept of a cat who's born with a power that basically turns him into a mindless fighting tank that kills without thinking or without meaning to has so much potential.

Thank god not everyone hates lionblaze I was beginning to think Moonkitti got into everyone’s heads. I liked his will they won’t they with cinderheart. I thought his angst about his power and his destiny was hilariously cliche and it made him like a dude bro in my mind. A himbo of a boy. I’m sooo glad he’s getting some love

this is stunning, i'm really happy to see this more understanding interpretation of lion's character. he had a lot of potential. this gave me chills, it gives me heartache but it's also terrifying. he is such a sweet babey boy juxtaposed against the bloodiness

Lionblaze!! I remember how much I loved reading about him. He was so much more than just a killing machine and a simp. The Erins did him so, so dirty......
It's honestly sad to know that even Cinderheart initially thought that they could never be together just because of the prophecy and her mindset on just how important he was to the clan. He even had so much guilt placed on him after killing Russet on accident when he was just trying to save Firestar. Just shows that even with power comes a painful struggle.
I love this! Finally someone looking behind the scenes and not just remembering his a bit conceited moments, but also his struggles!

The fact that Lionblaze is constantly being bashed because "Moonkitti's always right" Is wrong on so many levels, I'm glad to see people actually form their own opinion on the characters instead of just hating every character Moonkitti hates and loving every character Moonkitti loves. Lionblaze was a freaking super interesting chracter and you've done a fantastic job on this

I never rlly liked him as a kit but Jayfeather and hollyleaf were srs overrated and I eventually learnt more about him and TOHUGHT “I feel so bad for him..” which led him to bejng my faveourite charecter:3
I know Lionboy gets quite a bit of dislike for having boring chapters in OOTS but honestly the only thing I DON'T like about this man is how he had eight children with his reborn cat wife. (Eight kits in total, which is more than Ferncloud. Luckily two left the Clan, but still. There were so many that Bristlefrost was actually competing with her AUNT while they were both the same age for the same tom 💀💀) I like his personality of being a himbo that is surprisingly interesting. I'm sad he lost his powers and all but it would have been OP for him to have kept them. Still third place in my favorites out of the three (Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, Lionblaze) but he's not boring or a bad character at all.

@@strawbeetledefinitely. He had an abusive mentor and went through so much trauma, but his character just doesn’t focus on it the way it should, especially for a rather emotional cat such as himself. Two of his kids left him and his sister died and all.. The books should’ve put more focus on it, or reflected the toll it took should’ve taken on his character, but they didn’t and that’s kind of upsetting. They should’ve made him resent his power for more than just not being able to have a relationship with cinderheart, even when the books try to make outwardly expresses some emotion it just feels dull and empty, sort of meaningless piddly as fuck. Basically he’s a sad for ALL THE WRONG REASONS.

I was crying watching this yesterday oh my gosh. Ive never thought about my life relating to this song so much before watching this, and you depicted Lionblaze's life really well. What other people say are right, Lionblaze is remembered for fighting most of the time yet theres so much more to it than that.
