Resin geode coasters
I used Barnes Clariti resin to make these geode coasters. I also used mica powders from LeRez and Art Tree Creations.

I made this mold myself but I'm having it manufactured now. It will be available soon.
I recently came across your page and really love all your resin coasters. Just beautiful❤️
I would love to try this myself at home but resin is pretty pricey here in South Africa. How much resin do you normally use for a set of coasters?
Can’t wait. I’m too impatient after watching you make all these coasters
Awesome. Please keep us posted
@JRRnotTolkien I think it would be simpler to buy it ready made🤪
Can you notify me when done, I would love one of your molds.
The coasters are gorgeous, but the hearts have a special something something going on 🤩 x
what a beautiful back garden!
These are stunning! I can’t wait to do some just like it!
Very pretty. I am new to this resin art. I am a traditional painter, but have learned much since discovering you tube. O much diversity in th craft field.
It's harvest season! That means I'm stuck in the chair for the foreseeable future with your videos playing.
Thank you in advance for that and also sorry for the sprinkle of random comments that I'm going to probably leave you in the next month or so.
I love the colour of these coasters.
Don't worry about a little divot , in nature, you will notice irregularities, imperfections, etc. No two will be alike in nature..they are lovely! It just helps it look more organic.
Love the colors of this.
they are beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful as always Julie.
Wow what an amazing place to live 🙂
I absolutely LOVE your deck.. looks so beautiful 😍
I made this mold myself. My design is currently being manufactured and will be available soon :)
It's a beautiful mold. And to think, you've only been playing with resin for a couple of months and you're creating beautiful molds. Impressive.
Beautiful deck and property.
Simply gorgeous! I always learn something....a lot of somethings..in every video. The pink and gold are amazing. Kudos to you for including the gold leaf. That stuff is tricky. TU again!
In love with shimmer
Very beautiful!
Stunning coasters! Very elegant and soft looking! Love the presentation at the end with your beautiful bracelet.

I really love your videos, oh and the birds! It's so calming to watch you. I just ordered your mold and can't wait to make coasters!
Looks fantastic.
They turned out quite fine.
These are my favorite, so far! I’m redecorating my living room with pink accents. These would be perfect! 🌸🌸🌸
Oh and by the way I love your deck and yard so jealous lol 💜💙💜
They remind me of our Missouri Primrose. Beautiful
If you stir in a little alcohol with your mica pigments first it helps to break the clumps up , tip I got from Moonkusserart , she has some fantastic tips for resin.
Its beautiful.
Really nice x
Beautiful 💜💖
The coasters are lovely, the pink and gold are beautiful 🥰The mould is awesome, and love the hearts also! I'd like to buy the mould too!
Another successful mould and they coasters and hearts look fantastic maybe another to produce to sell
You did a great job! I like when the gold spreads. Think these turned out gorgeous they look better than a pressed flower. Hearts were a cute touch.🖤👍
Very beautiful
Top seu trabalho!!!
Amei, amei!!!
Julie, I use my tweezers you have there to get the hairs out of my coasters and immediately wipe the ends with a baby wipe. The tweezers are great for getting the hairs out and not messing up the details in the mica. These are super pretty.
Beautiful 😘
Wait more before putting the gold on. You’ll get better results that way and the gold won’t float away. 😇🙏🏻💜
You can make a mold of that little flower pot and do pours with it also. Great content, I love the birds.
Amazing, and luv your deck too! Great job!
A pearl center would look good, small pearls
ooh that's an interesting idea, and I just bought some pearl beads and plan to do a similar coaster set for my mother's birthday. Thanks for the suggestion ;)
Lovely coasters again Julie, but love your house more, please adopt me lol x
I love the coaster and the mold is brilliant please let me know when they are available to purchase. Did you happen to video the making of the mold.
So soft and elegant 🥰
I love the coasters with the gold leaf but maybe do a set where you don’t add leaf to the keychain hearts, just a thought 🤗
Use your heat gun to thin and push the top coat over everything works great Lovely 🌸Thanks Julie
J aime votre travail
Que maravilha!!!
They pretty even though I don't like pink lol 💜💙💜
When n I've mixed up too much gold flake for my coasters, I pour 2 1/2 - 5 ml into the bottom of a medicine cup and allow it to cure. When they have cured, I will remove them from the medicine cup and store then in a container until the next time I want gold centers. They don't spread out and float away like they do when the gold flake and resin is fresh.
they look like ham! haha great!
Love 💕 like the color.
Have you seen Sherry Moulton she made the coolest purple ones
Pretty in Pink 😁🌷🌸💐
Yes, please let us know when the mold is ready for us to purchase.
Have you tried using the clear crystals (the ones you used in your "Splash" bowls) as a center? I think that would be stunning.
Patience! Wait longer to add the center so it won’t sink.
Beautiful work. How you get rid of the bubbles in the resin, please?
Beautiful. Loved them. In an earlier video you mentioned that Barnes clariti is not heat resitant as informed to you by one of their staff. Do you suggest this resin to be used for coasters ? I am planning to start my coaster work but still not sure which resin to pick. I am based out of Melbourne hence looking for more local australian options.
the only way I can think of to keep it from closing over your gold is to start with the clear. like.. do a clear bottom layer, let it spread out, then add your color after the same way you do now... then extra clear and then the gold and more clear. I think it would help. resin dries outside in so it's hard to not have the closing in effect. Still came out beautiful!
Would really like one of your moulds!
Hi Julie loving your video could you tell me what torch do you use.
Love the color and the mold. Where is it available to purchase? I noticed you didn't spread the top clear coat to the edges...also curious if that was intentional. They are beautiful
