I think the advantages of learning this style of drawing (also known as fashion illustration) would depend on the kind of fashion industry job or career you’d like to pursue.
For example, it actually isn’t necessary for fashion designers to create fully rendered fashion illustrations. But knowing how to make them can give you a bit of an edge in some cases, like when making a portfolio, or when presenting a design idea.
For fashion illustration jobs, creating fashion sketches/drawings/art of the clothing is the main focus, so learning how to do it is necessary. 💗💕

May I ask what sketching pencil you are using? ❤ Love watching your sketches!
The pencils | use for sketching are mechanical pencils. I usually prefer 0.5 or 0.7 mm. Mine aren't branded, but Muji does sell some clear mechanical pencils that are similar to the ones I use. Hope this helps! 💕
