to be fair, the DLC has way more content added than 2 hours & 40 minutes, the Divine relic adds a whole new side quest, there's another side quest which requires you to beat every boss with the new character, & there's so much more. When you add on the fact that they created tons of new songs & cell animated about 9-11 beautiful new bosses along with a new character, it's a no brainer why it took so long with Covid
A few secrets you probably don't know. 1. Seeing those dogs ride the plans remind me so much of Sherlock Hound and the plane flying episode with Mrs. Hudson. It is a good anime. Hayao Miyazaki directed the anime and did the animation for the 1st few episodes. It is breathe taking.

Also, and small spoilers, but is it just me, or did I find the final boss of this DLC more intimidating that the actual Devil? Like seriously. I think it probably because of his design in the fight, the music, and just the general vibe and what he does in the background. Amazing fight tho. Felt like a true finale to Cuphead as a whole.
Hah, at the first phase of the bootlegger gang fight, I never noticed the policeman bugs are shooting at the spider, not at you. (It's just the projectile hurts you). Apparently, the fight happens during a police raid, hence the policebugs all around in the middle of stuff.
I'm really not sure if Caddy and Cerys realised that all the mini-bosses in The King's Leap were Chess pieces 🤣🤣🤣 but the DLC is still so fresh, and seeing people's first time reactions to it never gets old! Great stream Caddy!!
If anything, the boys should've gone to Planet Namek and ask Porunga to bring Chalice back to life. Too bad this isn't the Dragon World, but 1930s Earth...

There's actually a hidden phase to unlock in that dogfight one. When you shoot the pups, when they're low on health, their smoke trails turn grey. If you get all their trails grey without killing them, it changes the final phase.

Dang, you beat that devil fight without even realizing the gimmick for it. The angel attacks deal no damage at all to you. And whichever side you face determines which one is angel/devil.
I think its called a dogfight because when dogs fight its a lot of chasing after one another the way you would when trying to shoot down another plane.
