Couldn't stop my self from smiling throughout watching this video.. Paladin, you are so inspiring to me as I also started close around your age and now I'm turning 18 and I had my first two profitable months this year after countless failures.. March has been pretty rough on me with my family not liking what I do and etc.. But I asked God for strength to pursue this and he is giving me strength. I'm in that broke day trader phase right now, ( over trading, trading everyday and forcing setups)this interview really opened my eyes. After this I'm gonna focus more on the skill and mastering my craft first, before wasting anymore money. Thank you Paladin and Micheal , we need more interviews like this. Persistence is key, and even though you tell yourself this every day, it really helps to hear it from successful traders who have all been there.
I will watch this. Over and over and over again. Till I absorb the fullest essence of the message being provided here. Paladin's like yo, probably the most profitable ICT style trader who's like out there man, appreciate his loyalty and respect to the mentor (iykyk). A gem. Fine cut gem. This interview is heaven sent. Straightens a lot of expectations out and ICT KNEW which questions to ask so it can be answered in a way that provides clarification to traders (esp the starters).

The best lesson I got from this is "Sometimes when the chart are bad, the new traders tend to want to force a trade from them while I ll just go to sleep instead"; keep it going guys!
*Edit: 2nd best lesson is he implies he uses a 1:2 RR model, it calms me down from wanting a 1:5 RR every setup

With this trading journey, sometimes it is difficult to persue in our actual surroundings where by people especially our families may not understand what it is we are doing/ working on archieving.

this is by far the BEST interview i´ve seen on youtube, as forex trader this gives a lot of confidence that with hard work and trusting yourself, you can accomplish your goals.
I loved the part of a balanced lifestyle. I was full time trading trying to pass the FTMO challenge for 1 year and a half, until one day I got a side job in my spouse restaurant and this was the KEY that unlocked my potential, I passed both phases in few weeks, doing 1% a day, and without forcing... Balance is KEY.
PS: Thank you ICT, your 2022 mentorship was the missing piece for my strategy to be complete!
Wow, that was really interesting, and encouraging. The part about looking at trades in a block of 10 days, so if lose, its just part of that 10 day block is a powerful mindset. I struggle with entering a trade due to fear that it will immediately go south, but I am coming to realize that is because I really don't know the why of what is happening with price. I am new to this, so this ICT education will be very valuable to my mental health, lol. Thank you for sharing Paladin. Continue with your success, and continue to be humble. Cheers!
