Im not sure the distinction you are making? She picked up for a minute then dropped when the media covered how nuanced his stance on busing actually was. She deployed a calculated hit instead of giving a live and real answer to a debate question.
Her telling people like Colbert "it was a debate!" Says a lot, she is not willing to admit that there was overstep on her part and that Biden was for busing being determined by districts themselves and not federally. Maybe it means she would be an ineffective person at defending him as VP during any scandal as well?
Kamalas strengths are not dynamic, she nails prepared situations which makes sense cause she has been a prosecutor.
I like her but I am not convinced she is true leadership material - I trust that Biden has more direct information than any of us though and can make a better determination

If we had governors, school boards, state legislators, city council members, we could get things done with or without a progressive in the white house. Everyone who came out to protest should have been asked to run for office. If not now, then soon. We need to be helping those progressives get on ballots, raise money, and create a platform. But too often we have protests, but no plan. Angry voices speaking the truth, but no follow-through. Until we do, we'll remain beggars. Kamala Harris was elected to the senate in 2016, so that’s over a period of four years when hardly any Democratic legislation was passed (let alone progressive bills). She completely reversed course on supporting Medicare-for-All during the primary, and just voted in favor of the latest $740 billion defense budget last week. I’ve tried to give her a chance, but she is no progressive. She’s just another phony politician.

You must be talking about a different Kamala Harris. Because the Kamala I'm talking about did not vote for Trump's defense budget. In fact, she didn't vote for the last 3 defense budgets.
But you wouldn't know that, because you get your information from memes. www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=116&session=2&vote=00140

Right. Which is unfortunate because she is incredibly competent, but that's not what we look for in our candidates. They have to be inspiring and "real, man".
And we toss out our own for good reason, but our purity tests really cheat us out of qualified candidates and damages our unity. But when they scorn Kamala for basically doing her job, we have to stop acting like Kamala would even be in front of our faces if she were playing with kiddie gloves. Lady is ambitious, and seems willing to answer to criticism (to further her ambitions, but still). We have to stop acting like all bad is all bad. That is a very immature way of thinking. Some bad is more redeemable than others.

I think I made it clear that I admire Harris, she's a strong black woman that doesn't take much crap. But because she's black and female, doesn't keep people from scrutinizing her harshly. In fact, it's more likely to happen due to that fact. I don't know if that was what you were getting at, but just speak plain if you want to get your point across 🤷🏿.
