Great class and good teaching point at around the 12:45 time regarding belts that may have an arrow.
my 04' doesn't have near the play that is in your belt. that is part of what made me think that one of the clutches had failed. I would get off and it would roll away... very difficult to shift, high low or reverse. So I took the cover off to investigate. I started it and watched both clutches move and everything seemed to be working as it should. After looking closer and playing with the drive clutch I noticed it was hanging up between the shaft and the 3 weights... only 2 hanging but at least I found my problem. I cleaned all the dust and was thinking about using brake cleaner. My issue right now is that I got it off and the trans clutch collapsed and now I can't roll it on like you did. Maybe it's the wrong belt but I doubt it. Thanks for the video and thanks for any replies.
Is there a threaded hole you can stick a bolt in on the clutch to spread it up pen to aid with belt install?
@@TonyTheTruckGuy i didn't see anything like that. I just worked it around as gently a possible pushing down on the belt as it crawled into the rear clutch. next time I will stick a block of wood in there to keep it spread. thanks for you input sir.
Where did you get them tires?
They were already on it when I bought it, but they’re Sunf A033’s
Do you have a link for the seal?
The seal for the clutch cover? I do not. I usually go to a Polaris dealer website and look up the part numbers myself under the exploded parts view. I didn’t replace mine this go around.
