We got a special one, especially for you low handicap, high swing speed golfers! Nick is shopping for a new driver and has gone to Golf Performance Project to get fit, he is choosing. between the Callaway Ai Smoke Triple Diamond and the Ping G430 10k max!
Nick did try a Titleist Tsr3 and Taylormade Qi10 and a few others but he knew right away it wasn't for him, so we skipped those over for the sake of time
Both the Callaway Ai Smoke TD and Ping G430 10k Max are riding some big reviews and raves but which one will a 5 handicap choose? If you're a data nerd, we got some of that for you and if you just want to see some swings and hear some golf fitting expertise, this is the video for you.

This guy needs serious help and not just a new driver! He needs to learn how to hit the ball with that power and hit the center of the club face it’s not the fault of the clubs. He pounds the ball 320 yards and does nothing but complain. I don’t blame the guys in the shop for all wanting to jump on him and give him a hard time this was a joke
Never blamed the clubs once, the entire time I was blaming myself and talking about how the clubs were so forgiving. Not sure what video you just watched but it couldn’t have been this one. -Nick
There's nothing wrong with a lower handicapper wanting to make solid contact, results are with these clubs are always going to be good.
I never heard him blame club for mishits, maybe golf isn't your thing
Did you hit Ping g430 LST at all? jay carries on about how the 10k is gunna win tons of money on tour but only one player has used it. The LST is where all that money is won at xD I am glad he picked the Callaway TD because jay blew a lot of smoke up the G430 10K(It's a great driver for lots of average players but it's not revolutionizing the tour). if he liked the smaller head of the TD the LST might have suited his eye better. What do I know though maybe you guys tried it and it was a no go. LOL The AI smoke TD is a BEAST.
Didn’t try the LST no. Is the LST a shallower head? Because that was one of my concerns with the Ping. I have a tendency to hit down on the ball, especially when I’m swinging my irons well. I’d be worried about popping up drives. - Nick
@@ParWars_Golfthe max 10k has a shallower face than the max and apparently the LST has a taller face than the max by 1/4 inch. I really think the LST could have been money. Im sure your TD is fantastic though!

What made it the clear winner im curious
Jordie here, speaking for Nick, I think he liked the look of the callaway better and more confidence, Nick did go back for a second quick test between to the two to confirm and callaway just stood out more for his swing & liked the look

Had a tendency to close the club face too much with the PING since it’s a longer club head
Callaway had faster club head speeds and just overall further yardage - Nick

If it helps, I’m struggling to get the driver swing figured out right now. Can’t blame the club but I wish I could.

We’re actually going to test the new Cobra soon in a new video, I hear they’ve taken a big step since the previous models.
It’s legit a lower spinning and faster 10k max
But how forgiving?
Soo forgiving .. well I’ve got a driver problem as In I upgrade every year and try all
I’ve had them all this year and the dark speed LS for me my club head speed was 5mph faster on average ball speed similar of course
And deadset it’s stupid straight for me and standard deviation on spin over 30 shots was 280
That TD I hit my longest … but it’s a wild head on course , especially if your got that low hook miss like I do.. it gets down to 1200 spin and is scary
