Green Lantern’s first appearance in animation was in 1967. Hal Jordan's Green Lantern was first featured on The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure and was voiced by Gerald Mohr.
1979
Green Lantern’s first live-action appearance was in 1979. Howard Murphy starred as Green Lantern alongside Adam West's Batman and Burt Ward's Robin in the Legends of the Superheroes television specials.
Alan Scott's Green Lantern also briefly appeared in the television series Smallville, and the Green Lantern world of Oa made a cameo in the Arrowverse's crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths."
Did you know that the classic Looney Tunes character Daffy Duck once became a Green Lantern? In an episode of the animated television show titled Duck Dodgers, Daffy Duck accidentally obtains Hal Jordan's power ring and costume. Several Green Lanterns make appearances in the episode, including Kilowog, John Stewart, Alan Scott, and Hal Jordan, who is voiced by the celebrity comic book writer, Kevin Smith. During the episode, Daffy Duck attempts to say the Lantern Oath. Unfortunately, the end result is far from perfect, but it is still quite comical to listen to.
