Test pilot Hal Jordan is flying a new prototype jet while his boss, Carol Ferris is monitoring the flight by radio. When an earthquake shakes the area, what causes a bridge to collapse. Hal puts the jet on auto-pilot and transforms into Green Lantern. He rescues the train but the jet flies into a mountain, crashing.
