Wow, very cool! I just ordered the Ninja Foodi Hot and Cold blender and can't wait to give this recipe from a native New Englander a try. I'm thinking more potatoes might help thicken it up and if you like it chunkier, simply remove a strainer ladle or two of chunks at the end of the cooking process before hitting the pulse button, then reintroducing them to the mix. That would provide both a beautiful creamy soup texture and preserve the chunks. Anyway, this will certainly be one of my first tests...along with some beer battered Cod fillets. THANK YOU!!!
I made speghetti sauce using canned tomatoes and bell peppers and the blender had me hooked,it cooked it so well,I'm def going to make this tonight,can I ask you why didn't you just use the hearty soup button?just curious
