The one thing I always loved about Matt was his relationship with his father the man who taught him to live without fear. The first issue by Stan Lee is absolutely amazing and every Daredevil fan should read it.

If you haven't seen Daredevil on Netflix or now D+ then you're doing yourself a disservice. Daredevil has been and always will be an important character and it shouldn't have taken No Way Home for you to realize that. He's always been MCU canon, just cause you haven't seen the show doesn't mean it didn't happen. Also his comics are top tier too. Read Born Again and you will never look at comics the same ever again, or even something more recent like Know Fear by Chip Zdarsky.
Not only is he an important character but also one of the best and most iconic superheroes of all time. Definitely my favourite Marvel hero in comics. And well the show is my 2nd favourite show of all time.

Him being filled with so many contradictions is what makes him one of my favourite Marvel characters (and as a side note we can see in the intro to the show the devil is shown being anointed which is just really cool imagery)
As cool as it would sound, there would be issues mentioning Hell’s Kitchen on a kids show as well as producers finding ways to handle deaths or assassin characters like Elektra and Bullseye.

The costume was originally supposed to look like an acrobat's suit, since Matt was a skilled acrobat, with skin-tight leggings and a leotard. That look didn't last long and his signature red was introduced in issue #7 the following year.
I've been a fan of Daredevil for decades and can't wait to see more of him in the MCU. I loved what the Netflix show did and hope they follow that path.

Ironman and Cap get more attention but always liked daredevil way more and the more street level stuff he deals with...his faith etc

Daredevil/Matt Murdock is definitely one of the best creations than Marvel, as well as his creators Stan Lee and Bill Everett could ever think of becoming a one of a kind comic book icon with an interesting origin story, great and dark story arc, a fair amount of allies and some love interests while having his own rogues gallery to impact his life for the worst but also there protecting all of New York especially Hells Kitchen through thick and thin as Lawyer by day also being The Man Without Fear by night.
I actually just started watching daredevil past few days just finished first season. I loved the series and the characters all of it I'm probably gonna watch second season tmrw so I loved 1st season hope to see better in 2nd season
If you haven't watch Dardevil tv show, do it. It is honestly the best marvel television show out there. The acting, the story, the villain and literally everything else is ON POINT.

Great character, but one major flaw is finances. Matt Murdock often takes cases with poor clients who cannot pay or have to barter. It’s hard for Daredevil to live in New York City apartment by himself while barely making ends meet.
Please do a season 4 of daredevil instead of a reboot of the character. The Netflix show is just so unique and special I don't want people to call it non canon and ignore it

I haven't read Daredevil: Father in several years but referring to the man Matt saved as "an innocent bystander" is incorrect. That six issue Marvel Knights limited series was written and pencilled by Joe Quesada so it can't be ignored.

Charlie Cox was hands down the best casting choice for Daredevil. Cox's portrayal of Matt Murdock was just flawless.

Bendis and Brubaker's runs were amazing. Waid's too. A great Daredevil and Punisher story that people need to read is The Devil in Cell Block D.
