- Paper Decluttering 2019 Day | Home and Personal Binder Organization is what I am sharing today. In my last video, we sorted papers. Today, we are organizing them into my home binder and personal binder. I am going to walk you through my binder system and show you how I organize papers.
Who else has been inspired by Marie Kondo and her KonMari method book (The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up) and show? I know I have and today it has pushed me to take a look at my paper
clutter and to do some paper decluttering 2019.There are papers that have been in my office for over 2 years that I have been avoiding. No more! Today, I am going to declutter papers and organize papers. These papers include medical papers, financial papers, and personal papers.
I hope this gives you some organizing and decluttering motivation and teaches you how to declutter and how to organize. So come along and declutter with me and organize with me. Don't forget to share if you have watched the KonMari Method series with Marie Kondo.

What one paper area do you struggle with the most when it comes to organizing?
Mail ...I just put everything in a big box.
Kids school paperwork - sports info, school calendar, etc.
The Gold Project paperwork
How could I have a binder for the unspeakable? Should anything happen, everything is everywhere how can I organize stuff for my kids and make things easier.
Where does everyone keep there receipts needed for taxes at the end of the year? Such as Rx receipts, receipts from clothing I buy for work etc.
I am old school with my filing and bill paying system. I keep a paper trail. I don't trust paying bills on-line or digital filing. Besides, it is faster for me to find what I need in my file drawer since that is what I am used to and works for me.
If you found a system that works, then that is what counts. :)

A6 ring binder index book for personal and business contacts.
Inbox for current paper.
Shallow drawers for short term.
Ring binders for reference, mid and long term.
File boxes for VIP ICE. Very Important Papers In Case of Emergency.
All decluttered at the speed of life when efficiency is compromised.
Newer to your channel, but I have tried many things. Right now, I use a fireproof security file box. I have folders for each month where I shove things, with the plan to go through end of year and shred. I also have a full drawer of to shred. Our bill went primarily digital, so I don't keep anything paper that does come in after the year is up. I have one binder in that system which has items that are long term keep -- life insurance, POA documents, birth certificates, etc.
I am a binder nerd! I would love to see all of them.

I love binder method I have mine labeled for my senior father. Make easy for him to find stuff I'm addicted to binders lol

What size binders do you use?
I really like this binder system. I think it would work really well for the types of documents we have being military and all the documentation that comes with that. I'm thinking I might switch over to this and see how it works. It makes a lot more sense in my brain to have it organized by catagory rather than just files.🤔
