ALRIGHT LISTEN. TUI MADE AN ERROR WITH THE TIMELINE. IN WINGLETS, WD CONCLUDED DEATHBRINGER WAS 13. But in Winter Turning, Winter mentions that Deathbringer was a few years older than him. Let's keep in mind that Winter is 5. Face it. Tui made a mistake. Everybody does it! Glory is 7, and Deathbringer is 8. There is nothing wrong with this ship.
not to mention its based on dragon standards and with that 7 is considered an adult in dragon society based on the fact that in the lost heir in reference to orca its said that orca challenged coral almost the moment she was fully grown which was when she was 7 so even if it wasn't a mistake its not AS bad as everyone says especially sense in the books dragons start growing much slower after maturity (~7)

Glorybringer is a great ship. People always jump to the whole age gap thing, which is understandable, but Tui herself said that their age gap is an accidental writing mistake (correct me if I'm wrong, but it has been confirmed from what I'm aware). They're supposed to be the same age, so by that logic this ship is perfectly fine.

To anyone who mentions the age gap:
In book 4, it says dragons over 10+ can go out, but one dragon can go out even though hes not 10+ because he is an assasin, and that my friends is deathyboii. In book 7, it says that Deathbringer is a few years older than Winter. Also, its been confirmed. Deathbringer's age in Assasins was a mistake, and he is supposed to be 8, one year older than Glory.

Additional evidence for this is that Deathbringer said that Queen Battlewinner has been in hiding the whole time he's been alive, and she only went into hiding 9 years before book 4. So that's another point for him not being 10+.

WOF dragons are fully aged at 7. Deathbringer first appears when all 5 dragonets (Including Glory) are close to 6, and Deathbringer is 12. Deathbringer knew that Glory was a child because his orders described Glory as a dragonet.
This overrides how good the art is. This video needs to go down.

I've seen that their age gap isn't that big and glory isn't a minor.

I respect people who don't ship it, but it is likely a mistake on Tui's part, since the winglet book "Assassin" came out AFTER "Winter Turning". In "Winter Turning" Deathbringer's age IS mentioned on page 50:
"[Deathbringer] was a NightWing a few years older than [Winter], wiry and graceful and clearly trained to fight from the way he stood and the way he was assessing Winter."
Winter is 5, which would really make Deathbringer ~7 or 8, and thus only a year or so older than Glory, since she's 7 by "The Brightest Night". His age in "Assassin" is very possibly just a timeline error on Tui's part, and honestly because of that, I have no problem shipping it and no problem with people who ship it.
It's also important to remember that Tui used to be one of the Erins, the writers for Warrior Cats, who are all notorious for their writing mistakes, from eye color, to gender, and more. Wings of Fire is definitely not safe from potential errors. In book 15 they even say (twice) that SeaWing blood is blue, when it isn't. Only IceWings have blue blood.

Night x Rainwing sounds like a mad OP dragon.. Imagine being able to use venom, turn invisable, read minds, and see the future 💀
They may not have all those abilities. In fact, they might even barely have powers.
[SPOILER WARNING FOR BOOK 5 (AND POSSIBLY BOOK 6) + LONG COMMENT WARNING]
Take Sunny for an example. She's a SandWing/NightWing hybrid. But she barely even has powers. Her only power is fire breathing (which is very common in the WoF world, with MudWings, SandWings, NightWings as well as SkyWings having it). She doesn't have a tail barb. She cannot (properly) blend with the desert sand. She cannot blend with the dark. She doesn't have mind reading and cannot see the future.
Not to mention the fact that not all NightWings have mind reading and future seeing. There are three moons in the WoF world. Those hatched under one full moon have either mind reading or future seeing. Those hatched under two full moons have both. Those hatched under three full moons also have both, and it is said that the third moon enhances those powers.
So the dragonet may not hatch under three full moons, and may not get those powers. Also, there is a chance they may not get the venom/camouflage either (like how Sunny didn't get a tail barb). So yeah, they wouldn't necessarily be OP.
