- SO MUCH RAIN! - Our First June Garden Tour | Zone 5 Gardening
There has been so much rain in April and May here in our zone 5 Wisconsin garden, that there has been seemingly little time to actually get out into the garden and plant.
But, that being said, in this June garden tour 2024 video, we show you what is growing in our garden, and talk you through some of the exciting plants we have developing.
In this video you will see rat tail radishes, potatoes, peas, spinach, garlic, raspberries, cucumbers, squash, leeks, and so much more. We hope you enjoy this full garden tour, and are as excited as we are for the next few months as we get more of our garden planted and as these plants take off.
By the way, if you have never tried growing rat tail radish and eating radish seed pods, this video is for you.
Thank you so much for watching this early summer garden tour video!

I hear ya about the rain!! Ugh! We’re in Wisconsin with you and to be honest.. the rain can stop any day now.. BUT..Fingers crossed that your fear of drought doesn’t come to fruition!!
The birds are so funny at the honeyberry patch. When I catch them perching on the branches that grew right through the netting to reach into the netting for the ripe berries, they act like they're just innocently hanging out.
We experience "feast or famine" with the rainfall here, too. :(
Hopefully this will be a good growing season for us all!
The rain has been so constant. I just really hope it continues over the summer so we don't have drought conditions.
If they're like mine, those are baby onions and not flowers on your walking onions. The stalk will fall over so the babies go to the ground and establish--that is how they "walk."
What about the Chicago Hardy fig?
