People back then were used to winning they felt entitled to it. This generation and even us that at least got to watch them win as kids. Will love these kids for bringing the feeling back. Number 12 what a remarkable player one of my favorite players from when I was a kid.? He Knows who the Yankees are i'm surprised? he retired in 1979 after they won the 4th cup. I want to meet number 12.
I met YC and chatted with hin for about 4 minutes. He made it very genuine and was kind. I told him my Dad loved him and he lit up. Sweet man. Gentleman. Roadrunner is all class.

I have a feeling that Cole didn't quite know who he was talking to and didn't realize Yvan's importance until his dad entered the conversation. Yvan shows him his cup ring and then tells him he was the team captain and you can see the look on Cole's face change and he realizes that Yvan is no ordinary former player. Interesting conversation and nice to see that the team keeps the alumni players around to mentor the rookies.
One of my most memorable moments was having a meet and greet with Yvan. My wife took an awesome picture of the two of us together. I don't remember all 10 of his Cups but sure remember his last 6 very well! One of the best hockey ambassadors out there! God Bless you Roadrunner! 😁
