broke that poor coaches heart when he wasnt someone they could actually sign to their roster
đđđ
Hurt his soul đđđđ
Lmfao I thought the same thing
They don't sign walkons just fyi
But this is just corny n played out honestly. Nobody jumper looks like jimmers lol. Next week tune in to see Charles Barkley go undercover st first day of Auburn team conditioning! NoBoDy saw it CuMmIng!!
@@zeebee3606 I dont watch college sports much or basketball as a whole so im naĂŻve to the process and the form of the player

he scored 29ppg on his last year at BYU, they better know his name
Why did he choose to say he from Cincinnati thođ

His professional career didn't pan out how we all wanted, but he still is one of the best college players ever.
as a professional, he puts up about 30 ppg average the last few years....
Yeah in China
elite overseas player thats a pretty good career

Jimmer Fredette could walk into any random YMCA basketball pick up game without a disguise and no one would recognize him
I would lol
Maybe anywhere outside of Utah.
Except for those who watch any college basketball at all
â@@chasewright8324 Yeah, I may be a Canadian but for real Jimmer was averaging like 30 ppg on ridiculous efficiency and long range shots. His senior year at BYU was insane.
they would recognize the crazy game he has within 5min tho

Makes the coaches sad every time
Why is ESPN uploading 480p content though?
pick someone who's a real pro talent though - not these also ran hacks

ain't no way none of them at least thought "hmm, he's got the jimmer shot" đ
Just think about it, when Jimmer was going crazy at BYU a lot of these guys were in elementary school lmao. It wouldn't shock me if they really didn't know. I used to take them deep threes in practice my Freshman year and my coach hated it but I used to knock em down. If only he knew where basketball was headed in 10 years.
Except for the part that Jimmer is a legend of the university they play and they need to know the history of the university if they want to be a part of the program.

480p? ESPN, is that the best you can do? You're the largest sports media company in the world, and you're uploading your videos in 480p?
you'd think it would take a concerted effort to upload a video NOT in HD
Chill out, you make Roblox videos. The rest of us can handle it.
@@loldirt2893 yeah, and he posts them In HD so how tf is espn making this Iâm 480p?
144px Soviet Fredette experiment.
â@@loldirt2893 nah he has a point
He took his disguise off and he still had to tell them who he was. At BYU. Hilarious.
Dude needed to join the league 5 years later than he did: no defense, more floor spacing, 3 pt shooting as king.
I think if he was in the 80's/early 90's he would have stuck in the league as did Tim Legler, Fred Hoiberg.
he can't play defense he'd be run off the floor. plus he thinks he's better htan he is and won't put aside his ego. he's nothing special in the league, he's gotten a ton of chances even last year he was on a squad.
Heâs not athletic enough especially lateral defense. And yeah he would do good in the 80âs because those were plumber days
His offense wasnât the problem. It was his defense. Same with JJ Reddick. Although he was able to stick around and have a good career. They were phenomenal in college bc every team isnât athletic. In the NBA almost everyone is athletic
@@betonblack3621 also JJ understands his role and is wayyy more consistent
It's even more impressive he could drain all the 3's in a row he wanted, with a bunch of extra weight he had to account for
It's a flick of the wrist Bubba. Come on.
easy when u got 10,000 hours+
He's not a airplane
Yeah for real! Like have you tried shooting with a backpack on? đ
A lot people thinks making 3 pt shots is easy in the NBA, but a lot of thise players can make 3 pt shots like this guy. The difference is defense in NBA is incredibly tough where a defensive player 5 feet away can make up ground and air to block a shot attempt.
âAnd YOU want US to call you Slick Nickđ€šâ

Saw jimmer drop 40 in the NBA summer league 5 years ago like it was easy work. He was staying at my hotel and was just chillin in the lobby with his wife like an hour later super humble. Still don't know why he couldn't stick as a shooter in the league.
I remember hearing about the hype about him, and paid attention to him in NBA, he had no defense, and was getting ran off the floor by almost any player.
@@alexpizza78 I remember a game where he got a rare start against the Blazers and held Damien Lillard to 2 of 15 shooting, Dame wasn't able to just blow by him every time, he stayed with him very well, didn't have a big scoring night himself but still scored 15. Next night, even after a good performance, it was back to the bench. OK, just one night and Dame probably was having an off night but when other no defense guards like Derek Fisher or Raymond Felton play for over 10 yrs. then it raises the question why was Fredette always singled out for poor defense so much?
