    Is the possible to rotate a7iv fip screen completely if cage is on camera? Like for self recording (of course if there is just cage, without cables and stuff)

    May i ask, can still install a nato rail at the bottom of the half cage ?

  • @ekphotography

    Thanks for the video, do you know what size that nato rail is on top that you put on the half cage? I have a small Nato rail and need a Nato rail bc I have the Small rig handle with the trigger for sony cameras and want to use it. Thank you!!!

      If you mean the length, anything from an inch to an inch and a half is fine.

    Thanks for the comparison. Can the half cage shoot in portrait mode(vertically)?

      There is no arca-Swiss mount built in for that but you can add a plate or just rotate the tripod head.

    One additional benefit of the Half Cage is that you can slide it onto A DJI RS2 gimbal from either side, and without removing that plate from the gimbal. And that means you won't have to rebalance the gimbal every time you attach your camera.

    Does the halfcage wiggle when you use the top handle?

    • @AndrewVanBeekOttawa
      @AndrewVanBeekOttawa  Před 2 lety

      It tightens on very well so I haven’t had that happen so far. I have read that complaint from some.

  • @KingsleyGeorgePouponeau

    After buying the full cage, I realised that I could not flip my camera as when using an L-bracket...any suggestion? I am a photographer not video. thanks

    Hi, is the half cage compatible with A7III ?

    • @AndrewVanBeekOttawa
      @AndrewVanBeekOttawa  Před 2 lety

      I don’t have the A7III but from the SmallRig website it looks like the A7III requires a different cage.
