    I use mink oil on my seats. Works great. Love the bike, man! Good job having your wife do the fine work! I do the same thing! Haha. She is a ginger, also! Them ginger women have dependable hands!

    I was so close to cutting those fork boots off until I called HD and they said don’t because it’ll cause a leak overtime. Glad you put them back on!

      I dnt know why harley would say that, considering the softail standard runs the exact same forks and does not have gaiters fitted from factory.

    flipped mirrors are the best. on those raised bars you shouldnt have an issue. looks great. just bought a 2020 and looking for mods. great videos.

    Bud I never get tired of watching your videos , you flip back and forth doing this and that and it makes for a good chuckle , no disrespectful meaning in saying that you work hard to make your bike look good , for the cleaning of the airfilter they say after you spray it you need to let it sit for 24hrs , true or no ?

    The fork boots will save your fork seals,i know it looks better with out them,it's just better to have them

      MrEDE115 Hey so o just received mine and realized they only include 1 of the brackets that moves it over not two. I’m not sure why I haven’t gone out to install in yet but long story short you’ll have to buy 2 of those items from the link I sent in order to be able to relocate both mirrors.

    You should remove your usb box and do a diy vid. So then I know what to do to remove mine hahahaha.

      Thanks brother, half ya luck not needing to buy that lil bracket, even second hand it cost me $40 that's including the cost of postage.
      I havnt yet thought about taking off the USB box, you have given me some food for thought 🤔🤣🤣

      The Bobs look super clean, with that big usb box gone.
      Do a search in the Softail Street Bob Bookface page's, see what ya think.
      I had a tank lift for a while, wasn't sold on the look.

      @@LukaM2184 yeah mate couldnt believe it cost 40 bucks and that was the cheapest one I could find online. The U.S conversion rate to Au along with postage to Aus is a killer.
      I had a quick look at the Bob's without the USB box, it does look pretty neat 🤙

    Yep. I'm let's just say not a big fan of Harley's with fork gaiters. Makes em look like a 70's MX bike. 😂
    Much better without em. And you could always fit chrome or black dress caps over the seals.

    Great videos on the custom work you did to your bike. I am looking to flip the mirrors on my breakout and I run into the same problem with the mirror stem hitting my turn signals.     I tried flipping the mirrors on my Dyna Streetbob, with the standard bars, but the mirrors aren't adjustable enough to give near good rear vision.
    P.S. maybe powdercoat the wheel hubs black.

      I've taken a spin around the block with the mirrors flipped and they seem perfect for my height. I also think the bars I have are perfect for the flipped mirrors as they are 2 inches higher than the stock bars and allow plenty of adjustment to see out of.
      I would definantly consider powder coating the wheel hubs if i wasnt going to go with mag wheels in the future 👍

      I bought them off Amazon mate. They're a universal fit. Just search 49mm fork boots and they should pop up. I did purchase them over a year ago though, so wonder if the seller still has them 👍

      Thanks man, a while ago I bought a seat from blue collar bobbers for a vt 750 and with the leather seat they provided me with the wax.

      Just Google these part numbers and the parts will come up. There's a few harley websites that sell them but I got mine second hand off eBay.
      Part numbers are:
      -ball receptical 67829-88
      - acorn nut 7331
      - locknut washer 7155

      I bought the mirror mount off ebay mate, part number is 67829-88. You will also need to buy a lock washer and acorn nut 👍

      Hey man I had a hard time finding that bracket available with shipping to Aus. You will need the following parts to mount the mirror upsidedown on the right hand side.
      Just Google these part numbers and the parts should pop up.
      -ball receptical 67829-88
      - acorn nut 7331
      - locknut washer 7155
      I bought my bracket second hand off ebay so I saved some coin. Its surprising how pricey those 3 items are brand new.

      I'd still recommend the wax as it's great for conditioning the leather and in the instance you get caught in the rain 👍

      Yeah I do prefer the look of the bike without the fork boots but I was getting light scratches on the forks so decided it's best they probably go back on. I dont know why I do it to myself hahahaha, any excuse to work on the bike I guess hahaha.
