Classic narcissist move. At first they are to good to be true, loving everything you love and being 'the one'. Once you are in their claws they isolate you from your loved ones so no one can help you and that's why it's so hard to leave. You would have to totally rely on them for everything and they use that to manipulate you to always get their way and guilt you whenever they don't. Some people unfortunately lose themselves in the process and it's worst if dv is involved, so even lose their lives.

When my ex got arrested for trying to off his gf, the judge was going to make me take our, not even two year old son to the prison to see him. Thankfully, I was able to prove that my ex had missed so many visits that it would not be maintaining a relationship but rather establishing one. Which is ridiculous, in my opinion! Babies do not belong in an environment with violent offenders...

My daughter is going through a DV divorce now. I knew when he moved her and my grandkids to his home state he was isolating her. My fear was true. It’s been a battle to get her free of his control. My heart goes out to any family enduring an abusive situation.
I too was in a DV situation...but when i was 14. It has affected my life in so many ways. I also just helped a girlfriend get out of a similar situation!!! So happy shes free of his control...but it is an uphill battle!!

My mom worked in child protective services and unfortunately a parent in prison has rights to mandatory visitations with their children even if the kids don’t want to see them.
Wow. I had no idea that was a thing. Is that different state to state or is it the case for all 50 states?
I live in Texas and just looked it up. Here it says that in general, the custodial parent has zero obligation to take the child to visit in prison. It could be court ordered though. I get the sense that would only be ordered for special circumstances.

You should also cover the recent case of Lucy Letby, who was charged and convicted of the murder of seven babies as a nurse in the UK. That has been big news recently.
How in the world could she hurt babies, let alone murder them??!! Out of anybody, they are the most innocent humans there are!!! That's so messed up🤬
She was a nurse who felt she had the power to decide which baby would live and which ones would die.

very true! i lost my dad unexpectedly almost 2 years ago & it has not gotten easier one bit, i’ve just gotten used to the feeling of him being gone physically.. i still can’t believe it.. i have days where i still forget. some days are better than others: this story hurt my heart! very difficult to listen to some of these sometimes, but glad the story is being put out there for awareness!

Same but my mom knew when she was going to pass she had said it for years but never wanted to talk about it thought that she would be here for a while more but she was right. my mother always said that she was going to pass when she turned 60 July 6 and that very next month August 23 she passed away😢 you do feel lost at times but I have a awesome support of people that helps. I don't know if your situation was able to be prepared for, and I say that lightly. Death is never easy, expected or unexpected. When my bf passed it was unexpected and it was ten times harder. But you're right, this community is one where we can all come together and help each other♥️
You should do a video about Lucy Letby! She was just convicted in chester , UK for murdering 7 babies and and attempting to kill another 6 at the countess of chester hospital ( my local hospital) She was a neonatal nurse! She was just sentenced to 7 whole life sentence. Very rare in the UK ! She is only the 4th woman in the UK to get a whole life order !
I saw this case on Deadly Women years and years ago, and then just recently Dustin's family did an episode of American Monster that left me literally sobbing. I felt so deeply for him, being a loner myself and even as I'm writing this I get this lump in my throat thinking about what that poor young man went through in his final moments.

BUT you posted and thank goodness now I have something to do to help me anxiety while we wait! She was due Tuesday, but little miss thing just decided today was the day! My great-nephew also turned 4 months old today! 😊 Oh happy day! ❤

@@DeBellanadi I listened to a podcast about it and they refer to the babies by letters😥 thankfully there wasn't too much detail because I'm still physically ill after hearing it. Its unfathomable. Those precious babies. I ask myself why I want to hear about it but some part of me wants to "understand " or to know why, when really there isn't a reason in the universe that would help me understand.

I can't even imagine the trauma that induces on a child. Their dad is the only person who actually cared about them, it seems. Sounds like all she cared about was money, which we all know how money makes criminals out of people...from those who don't have anything who go out committing robbery all the way to the politicians (who have more than most of us will ever see in our lifetime) who use their power to get away with their financial based crimes. Christina can u please look into the Dulce María Alavez case she was a five year old who has been missing for a few years now and it seems like everyone has forgotten about her and her mother is so weird and cold. Even doctor Phil thought the mother was off. The spokesperson for the case exposed the mother for being off. She would do so much for Dulce’s case and host search parties, candal vigils etc. while Dulces mother barely speaks out about her daughters case. it’s just so sad the case has been unsolved and there’s so many things that don’t make sense. And no one talks about Dulce.

Wow that’s Crazy !! How can a judge FORCE a husband to take the children to visit a convicted murderer in prison….that’s insane. She has life without parole, she lost visitation rights when she chose murder, as for past alimony, she doesn’t deserve it after murdering a young innocent man to try and blame her ex husbands. The psycho doesn’t deserve anything. So glad the judge finally let the husband return to Australia with his sons, they certainly DON’T need any influence from that manipulative psycho.

While I know he thought he could trust her to ship his pets, there’s just no way I could trust anyone to do that. I would be a bundle of nerves so I would need to be there every step possible. I can’t imagine how heartbroken he would have been to find out his cat was still in the neighborhood months later. That’s deep pain.
If I had a spouse and they did that to my pets, they would be served with separation papers the next day and their stuff would be on the lawn. The marriage would be done that day.

Michael needs to get an attorney on this. My son is incarcerated and went through a divorce and the courts would NOT grant my son visitation. ONLY if he wants to go and it’s OKAy with his felon mom! She doesn’t even keep up the twice a week video visitation and nothing happens to her. She is on probation too! UGH.
Honestly sounds like a sad situation. I Obvs don’t know what your son did to end up incarcerated and hope he gets out soon and changes his life around but i feel for their kiddo. Two parents in the system for poor life choices. Hope they get their shit together for that little one! Prayers for your son and family!
