hello there, i am re-playing my fav raider game again,i first completed it on my late son,s pc back in 1999 with keyboard only, im now on this level got all secrets so far, i just completed the second secret first attempt with 4 secs to spare. this and all raider games so help me with my deppresion keeps me sort of happy. cheers for all the uploads.

I just played this in the remaster... I was actually able to solve the button puzzle at 2:30 myself without a guide. I spent a while exploring the level thinking that it must have a telegraph or clue somewhere and did not find anything. I actually got a pen and paper out and started making notes.
I counted the numbers of each symbol and started pressing them in the order of how many symbols there were. nothing happened.
I noticed that the 2 symbols at the sides always faced eachother some faced left on the bottom and others to the right and tried combinations based on that. nothing haqppened
I thought it was about going clockwise or anticlockwise on each panel would reveal a pattern... but nothing.
It clicked when I focsed on the fact that man is always on top and their is a flow of down arrows on each panel (which I wrote of as decoration)... it is describing a food chain
Man is always the ultimate preadator
Plants are at the bottom
Many birds hunt fish
The left most symbol states Man is a better preadator than a Bull, which is a better preadator than a plant CORRECT
The center left symbol states Man is a better preadator than a Bird, which is a better preadator than a fish CORRECT
The middle symbol states Man is a better preadator than a Plant, which is a better preadator than a Bull WRONG
The center right symbol states Man is a better preadator than a Fish, which is a better preadator than a Bird WRONG
The right most symbol states Man is a better preadator than a Bird, which is a better preadator than a Plant CORRECT
Took me about an hour in the end, but glad I did not tap out and do a guide as it felt really rewarding and actually made me feel like an explorer doing it that way!!

Nice. I always wonder if have some clue to get the correct combination. I think that's the only puzzle that have some sort of clue alongside the fuel pump puzzle on the Antartica level.

If you blast the nest with a rocket launcher right when the flies come out you'll stop them permanently.
Ok... How you able to aim in this game? Lara only aim on the enemies.

The puzzles in this level are a bit insane in my opinion like what the f?!
No one can solve this level without a guide. It's nuts. No logical person could ever figure out how solve some of these.

I did everything else in the level but this damn jump 9:50
This isn't "oh my god i can't do this, this is impossible", no, it's a good level indeed.
What I mean is that I was trying to do that jump but I wasn't sure it was the right way to do this(I tried like 6 times before giving up), so I had to see this video and I feel bad doing it, I wanted to do this level all by myself without any guide.
I am stuck on this level - Although I am nearly at the end. But I hate it! I am stuck at the firey room where you have to avoid fire and those fire breathing dragons. Grrrrrrrrrrr

13:14 what does that lever? inside the cave
Once you get munition and so, that door is supposed to close, unless you're fast enough to get out. In case it closes, you just pull the lever

You probably needed to insert the key into the lock on the right wall as you enter the chamber with the energy beam, this switches it off.
I am at the end but now don't have the key for this, I can't work out where you get it from 😞@@britishmystic
I just played this on steam and the beam doesn't hurt you. I never thought to try going down into it.
True, there's no need for careful jumping around it, you can just jump through.

I'm always too slow for the time secret never made it. But fortunately there is an extra secret in the Coastal Village level. So I don't need the second secret.

I swear, I did it by pure luck.
It’s the food chain from top to bottom. If the food chain is correct, switch it on. If its false, leave it off.
I hate all of the Antarctica levels and I still love Tomb Raider 😂
Where to find the clue for buttons at 2:43? Is this just a matter of trial?

9:47 I've been stuck all this time, not knowing that you could just make this jump by not walking all the way to the edge. The amount of time that I tried to make it to that platform is infuriating. Shit game /s :p thanks for the walkthrough.

I tried to go first thing to solve those element trials ,instead of heading for the room with lots of trap doors. Is it possible to beat this level like that?
Yes. Just make sure to always pick up the tiger-face thingies, because you can only go through each element area once.

7:20 in my version of the game there are endless tinnos wasps in this section. Is there a way to prevent them from spawning that i'm missing?

the door at 13:14 is always closed for me, despite opening it at 11:28 (im playing remastered). perhaps its a glitch??

There is some reason of the buttons combinations for open the door at the beginning of the level?
Yes - look closely at the pictures around the buttons. First button: man eats bull, bull eats plant --> this makes sense. Second button, man eats bird, bird eats fish --> this makes sense. The third button does not make sense --> a plant cannot eat the bull, etc. etc. :)
So all the levers were for a crappy secret that when I got there the door was closed haha

Same happened to me. I thought I had forgotten something so I watched a few walkthroughs... but apparently it's a bug so you're basically stuck. In these cases I allow myself some trick like jumping the level - if you do so you'll get directly to the final boss of the level :)

Can I say this walkthrough channel isnt very good or just doesnt tell you where to get the stuff to go to the next level from. Ive done walkthroughs since I was a kid. And some arent very good.
Its usually a cut in the video what youre either supposed to get.
